Guest LCFC_World Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Spent a delightful six hours shuffling around the back of the Family Stand today. A particular shout out to the couple in front of me who had to queue jump in order to get up to the Man United game on time. Right pair of elastic bands. Whatt....
Rob_Welsh85 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Yep. Whats the plan for the people who wrote there names on the clipboard, do you know? Am planning on going to queue v early tomorrow if I cant sort it online. Do those people go to the front of the queue

The Year Of The Fox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I'm just glad our club is a joke off the pitch instead of on. For once.

blueharmie Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Why the **** are people spending a day queuing up for a season ticket? You all nuts or what?
Guest LCFC_World Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Does any one think it will die down at like 4AM? And to the person above not everyone already has one, and they may want to ensure that they get a seat in a loud area
lcfcmummy Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 hi does anyone know if u can do the pay monthly over the phone or on line or do u have to go to the ground many thanks
Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Why the **** are people spending a day queuing up for a season ticket? You all nuts or what? Yep. I'm f***ing mental.
StanSP Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 If you're on the clipboard, can I borrow someone's name please?
Rob_Welsh85 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Why the **** are people spending a day queuing up for a season ticket? You all nuts or what? we're all mental.... Roll on the early morning wake up call and queuing in the rain!!!
sdb Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 don't fancy 13 pages of reading - what's the deal today? I'm tempted to buy one - 3hour round trip but tempted. Only issue is i'm likely to apply for a new job before August and that'll be more like a 6 hour round trip. Decisions!

Guest LCFC_World Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 as soon as you get to about 10 in the queue it starts to freeze!

It looks like I'll be joining the queue. Would have been there today but had to go help Cambridge Utd with there pitch renovations!!!
Karljohn Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Some facts for you. .average queue time at the stadium is 6 hours plus, when I arrived at 1pm I was told I wouldn't be served, a barrier was then put out behind me cutting off about 100 or so behind, the majority of which left their names on a form, those handful that queued despite being told they were unlikely to be served, we're in fact served, as we're those who turned up later. They had just 7 staff serving, the guys n gals serving look knackered. No one in the queue managed to get through on the phone or Web to my knowledge. I've spent 3 hours online, 6.5 hours in a stadium queue. And there's hardly anything left in family stand, sk2/3. Oh and we're officially tinpot when it comes to retail.
sdb Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 it's sweet you'll have about 3 months to make your decision because the website will still have you in a queue by then haha, don't tell me the whole thing's been a shambles?! not at LCFC ticket office?! By the sounds of it it was a 6 hour wait at the ground today.. It looks like I'll be joining the queue. Would have been there today but had to go help Cambridge Utd with there pitch renovations!!! Cheers, and online is just screwed?
Illusion35 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Yes if they turn up between 9am and midday can go to the front of the queue. Sadly my name is on the clipboard - but I'm working all day every this week, only had this afternoon to go. I told the man with the clipboard this and that I'm a teacher and the guy (apparently Scott Paul, head of ticketing - doing a very bad job) said he will call me personally tomorrow. Anyone reckon he actually will?!

stripeyfox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Just got back from the ticket office after a 6 1/2 hour queue to get my season tickets. To be honest when I realised how long it would take I wasn't going to bother but I'd promised my son and today was my only chance to get down there. Once I was there, I may as well stick with it. The queue got "closed" just after I joined it at 1.00pm. Stuff I learned in the queue/ticket office The club has a strange approach to putting out safety barriers. At least three stewards need a long discussion before one barrier should be placed Standing up for 6 hours hurts your legs (a lot) The guy who runs the ticket office is a nice bloke with good people skills I got a free capri sun which was so cold it must have been stored in liquid nitrogen The girl who served me (Anna) was very lovely despite being tired and annoyed at morons shouting and complaining at her The club shop sells a lot of shite at very high prices The ticket office would have preferred to commence sales tomorrow or thursday to give them more time to prepare Family Stand all sold out (apart from odd tickets here and there) JTT corners also "limited availability"
Dr The Singh Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 At this rate it's going to be streams and sky sports!!
Soup Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Right I'm actually angry now! I was told at 2.45pm that absolutely no one who wasn't in the queue ahead of me at that point would be served today and the ticket office was closing at 6pm. Fecking liars! I would have waited! Everyone sent home would have waited! That's absolutely disgraceful.Shocking from the club.
