Joe_Whittaker Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Been sent a comfirmation email for my purcahse at 4.30 am this morning. But after what people are saying regards to technical faults im not feeling confident about all this now! Not sure what to do anymore. Premier League club with a sunday league website!
lestajigs Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Got here at 8.50 and will be through the shop door in 5 mins Not bad, what's it like now the que??
ScouseFox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 I have finally got to the music on the phones I've started at queue position 4 maximum capacity is it? Wow 4 phones in use for probably the busiest few days of sales in 10 years. i've always wondered what life would be like without technology. now thanks to lcfc i'm finding out that it is not cool.
ElusiveEd Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 They didn't ask me for my email but said something about something coming through the post to confirm it. I was too excited about getting through to actually listen to what they said, wish I would of paid attention. Checked the bank last night and nothing has actually come out of my account but I would expect it to take a few days to process! Cheers Buzzer. Will keep an eye on it.
Ross-Kemp Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 And anyone who is attempting to simply renew this week (not buy anymore or move) who is not out of the country until June 2nd needs to be banned.

Haha I know you would think they would get all the kiosk workers in, just for this period, they used to in the filbert street days
Ricey Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/070514-season-tickets-update-1539820.aspx Still no mention of LCFC Direct issues. How hard is it to give us an update?
stripeyfox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 And anyone who is attempting to simply renew this week (not buy anymore or move) who is not out of the country until June 2nd needs to be banned. They should execute one of them outside the ticket office to send out a message....
Callabinho Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 who ever gets any in the Kop SK2 row BB 159 - 160, you'll be in with a good crowd. Don't worry if you're going in today, you'll get tickets! Look forward to seeing new faces next season!!!
chapero82 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 I reckon there must be only one person on phones as I've only just become no1 on the phone
skmanuk Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Things looking good, been here an hour and in the shop already. Just been told should only be max an hour from here. I think you'd have a decent shot. Not bad, what's it like now the que??
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Our phone operators are all busy and our queuing system is full, please use lcfcdirect.com, yeah ok!
Guest Papasmurf Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Just got through to LCFC.com and the season ticket select icon is greyed out. Guess I need to book tomorrow off.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 wasn't just new applicants though, as Family Stand Season Ticket Holders Paul Barnacle and Sean Quinn queued from 9pm on Monday night to renew their tickets for the new campaign.
S1DDO Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Got here at 8.50 and will be through the shop door in 5 mins You've got another couple of hours yet, good luck
stripeyfox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 2500 sold so far according to the club. So with the ticket office, phones and website running at full tilt for a whole day, they shifted 2,500. If the demand keeps up they'll be gone this week, which is what I reckoned. Yesterday was my only chance to go over and although I would have rather not spent 7 hours queuing up I'm glad I did now. To expand what I was saying last night; in my view the guy (who I was told was the ticket office manager) handled the situation as best he could. Explaining to those who were going to be turned away in a professional manner, keeping calm when he was being heckled and abused by people. He also walked along the line apologising for the delay and provided drinks. I'm sure he and his staff were just as frustrated by the limitations of the system. It's all very well investing in better ticket office infrastructure but if it is only going to get stretched once every couple of years, then it is a waste of money, considering that people generally are content to queue for 6+ hours. Good luck to everyone down there today!

Good luck to everyone down there today! investing in a new website would probably not cost that much and would be decent because then the website would actually work. it's not just big games when it decides it can't be arsed, throughout the season it just breaks as and when it likes. but that's besides the point. they don't need to invest in anything. they just need to see that yesterday, today and probably tomorrow (good song) are going to be ridiculously busy. why are only half the tills open in the shop? why is the maximum phone capacity seemingly 4 people with just one person taking orders? they should make it so that everyone (or as many as possible) who works for the club shop/ticket office etc is in work selling season tickets on the phone and over the counter this week. it is obviously going to be busy but if they double their staff then you halve the queue. simple.
chapero82 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Just keep trying the phones over and over again make sure you press 1 3 times too, I've just got off the phone and me and my son can go next season woohoo
Benji Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 No wonder the website isn't working when you've got people like this in the queue: It wasn't just new applicants though, as Family Stand Season Ticket Holders Paul Barnacle and Sean Quinn queued from 9pm on Monday night to renew their tickets for the new campaign. Paul told LCFC.com: "It finished raining at about 6am this morning so it has been a long night, but I wanted to make sure I got our Season Tickets for my children. You have until the 2nd of June!
