lcfcfem Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 I spent 12 hours trying to book online yesterday and then decided enough was enough and went and camped out from 10pm. Great night. Straight into the ticket office at 9am. Got my seats that I wanted and now off to bed with a big smile...................and these were NEW STs because I actually do not live in the UK so I will only use probably half of them, but it is better than missing out on tickets all together when I am home. I am a dedicated plastic fan haha!
lestajigs Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Finally got my season tickets, Family Stand has only single seats, so I went for JTT. Did it on the phone, rang about 10.00 am and was on hold for 20 minutes!! GET IN!!!! PLASTIC FANS RULE!!! Are you sure the family stand only has single seats???

TJ Fox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Does anyone know how easy it is to move seats during the season? The exact seat I want isn't available yet, but I know the people in that seat are moving...If I buy a nearby one, will it be possible to move if that seat is not renewed as of the renewal deadline?
FrankieADZ Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 looks pretty long again today....thank god i dont have to do mine yet

I'd imagine you can, although they maybe could charge you for another swipe card.
stripeyfox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Are you sure the family stand only has single seats??? This is definitely what I was told at 7.30 last night. In fact I was told it was COMPLETELY sold out, although odd seats seems more likely. There are definitely no "Free" kids tickets left so we went for JTT (£40 for the kids). Even there we had to go right to the back to get 4 together.
bart Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Just got back 3 1/2 hours of queuing so not too bad. But the club do have everything backwards. The majority of sales should be through the website, instead its an afterthought. If its true that they didn't know it was broken until the close of play on one of the busiest days in years then thats unbelievable. That said the staff on the floor of the ticket office do their best.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Susan Whelan, Leicester City's chief executive officer, said core objectives of the 2014/15 season ticket campaign were consistent with those of recent years – to reward those fans that had been loyal to the club, Really ?
Guest Papasmurf Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 At last, all booked on the phone. Wanted L1 but told there's no availability in that block so went for SK3 instead.
Nugent Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Got through to the website, couldn't click on anything, then kicked back out and back in the queue, number 630
Dr The Singh Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Are you sure the family stand only has single seats??? There are a couple of double seats, but they were on the front row in the corner!!! Other then that single seats, my youngen is under 12 so, going JTT made little in price but got better seats!!!
Lookatthebluesky Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Put Nigel in charge of ST sales because those that are responsible have not got a clue. Farce
Rob_Welsh85 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Started queuing at 4.15 this morning. Got the tickets in K1 almost exactly where in wanted them. Some people did join the queue at 9 after being on a clipboard but not many.... Website is a real pain in the backside and phone lines are even worse. I was just lucky to get the day off so I could queue up. Good luck to anyone still trying to get one KEEP THE FAITH

ScouseFox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 this is excruciating. managed to get further than ever before online by selecting two seats, got past the spinning circle but now it won't let me click add to basket and it is slowly counting down from 10 minutes and is going to reach zero and time out before i get them bought.
Dr The Singh Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 I think you'll find JTT is where the coolest people sit It is now!!!!!!
Ross-Kemp Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 The queue has reduced massively, currently at where the first turnstile is, no barricades either, seems to be moving well.
LCFCpele Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 queued for 6 and a half hours yesterday at the ground! Just about worth it in the end! Felt for the ST Holder that was told after 3 hours that he didn't need to be there and had till June to renew, he looked rather disappointed with himself as he walked off

Charge them £5 to park for away games
