davieG Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Foxes fans have turned out at King Power Stadium in their thousands in an effort to snap up their 2014/15 Season Tickets since the first sale on Tuesday morning. A total of 7,000 Season Tickets were made available to new applicants from 9am yesterday, and after an overwhelming response from supporters, around 2,500 have already been sold.

Nugent Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 I have I think it was more than luck if anything! Haha fair play, how long were you in the 'queue' for?
Happy Fox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Haha fair play, how long were you in the 'queue' for? 10 minutes then got through.
ScouseFox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 neither the website or phones will even put me in a queue anymore.
LCFC FOX Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 so I'm finishing work at 12 to get to the KP at 2 and now they're gonna suspended the queue again? I'll be fuming
Tommy G Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 So that tool queued up to RENEW his ticket 12 hours before opening, has he got a brain?
Jbrightmore Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Can anyone help, I'm planning on going down to buy tickets for me and a few mates, all hoping to get them on the direct debit plan, any ideas what details are needed and can I buy them on their behalf? Don't want to go down and queue to be told I can't when I finally get served!
st albans fox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 So that tool queued up to RENEW his ticket 12 hours before opening, has he got a brain? takes all sorts tommy. all adds to life's rich tapestry.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 neither the website or phones will even put me in a queue anymore. Keep trying the phones. I've been trying constantly since 9am and only just got through. 20 mins on hold so far and position 2. Everything crossed.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 wasn't just new applicants though, as Family Stand Season Ticket Holders Paul Barnacle and Sean Quinn queued from 9pm on Monday night to renew their tickets for the new campaign. According to 'LM', they weren't STHs http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Fervent-Foxes-fans-queued/story-21062855-detail/story.html "We didn't have season tickets last year because it was easy to get tickets for all the games, but next season will be different because everyone will want to go to watch Manchester United and Chelsea, so we want to make sure we'd get to see the games."
stripeyfox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 takes all sorts tommy. all adds to life's rich tapestry. I think there are some folk for whom the football club is everything. They have literally nothing else to do or think about and probably enjoy standing in a queue at the football ground even if they don't have to.
Claridge Posted 7 May 2014 Author Posted 7 May 2014 I take back what I was saying yesterday. Had a phone call from the head of ticketing as he promised when he suspended the queue yesterday. Restored my faith in the club, he was great and has sorted my tickets. If you have any problems down at the ground today, ask for him! My wife had her name on the list, but went down to the shop at 630 just to be safe. At 845 she asked a steward about the list and he took her to the front and she got the tickets. Hope everyone else gets theirs
Dr The Singh Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Finally got my season tickets, Family Stand has only single seats, so I went for JTT. Did it on the phone, rang about 10.00 am and was on hold for 20 minutes!! GET IN!!!! PLASTIC FANS RULE!!!

ScouseFox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 raising the bat to mark the half century of calls so far today. my phone bill is not gonna be cool.

I was hoping to pick up a shirt for my nephew for his birthday this Friday as his was pretty much tore of his back last week and he was pretty upset about it but don't really want to wait hours for one? Thanks

Thanks Yes, just have a word with one of the staff/stewards. They still had the "round" till open where they do the shirt labelling for retail sales yesterday. Would be a bit of a bast if you had to queue for 6 hours to buy a new scarf!
