Guest LCFC_World Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Lets say we were relegated, out of the new 7000 season ticket holders, who will be renewing? I 100% will but would just be interesting to know. I have heard all these stories about people queuing up for a season ticket in Man Utd tracksuit bottoms and is really disappointing,
PAPA LAZAROU Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Well if we do get relegated it would sort out the true fans from the band wagoners . But I'm sure a lot of the new season ticket holders would continue to renew. Me and my son for instance have been going down to as many games as we could afford for years and never felt the need to get a season ticket. But with promotion it was obvious to us that if we did not get one there would be little if no chance of us getting tickets to see the top sides as the usual is bound to happen, tickets go missing and are sold on to undesirables or away fans who manage to get them sat in the home end. So although we cannot really afford it we have managed to get enough together ( no holiday this year ) and got our first ever season ticket. One thing for sure even if we do get relegated we shall be renewing come what may next season. We love this club it's a big part of our lives and we were not going to miss this season in the Prem for anything. Leicester till we die !

Night Air Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Apologies if this has already been covered but I am a current season ticket holder wanting to renew for next season, does this mean I am limited to my current seat or can I renew my ticket elsewhere in the stadium? Thanks

Thanks You can renew to an empty seat elsewhere you just need to pay the relevant price for the area you move to

stevebrock Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 do you think they will release any more season tickets to new applicants?
indierich06 Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 do you think they will release any more season tickets to new applicants? The only possibility for new applicants getting STs will be if existing ST holders don't renew this year, and I imagine an overwhelming majority of them will be renewing. There will probably be a handful who don't renew for whatever reason though, so it might be worth getting in touch with the Ticket Office and seeing if there's any waiting list available for non-renewed STs. Then again, if the number of current ST holders who don't renew is quite small, the club might just make those seats available on a game-to-game basis like the rest of the seats in the ground - they'd certainly make more money that way. I wonder if they'll be doing half-season tickets this year too?
stevebrock Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 ok thanks, I tried in vain to get a ticket online, managed to get friday off work but was unlucky! Oh well I do quite like listening to Stringer & Youngy! And I am sure there will be a few televised matches!

indierich06 Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 If anyone in L doesn't renew these will be made available as a ST seat Yeah, they defo would, although I imagine they'll be like gold dust in there. Can't see why anyone in that section wouldn't renew, especially at the prices on offer.
yorkie1999 Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 I think they can make the whole ground minus 15% available for season tickets, if they want to.
PAPA LAZAROU Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 I won't be renewing next season full stop no matter what the league, what's your thoughts on me? Don't have any thoughts on you DR . I don't know you or your circumstances or reasons for your statement ( trolling perhaps ) but I'm sure the club will get over the loss of one season ticket holder so it doesn't really matter does it ?
kingcarr21 Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Just renewed mine. Got straight through on the phone Dont know why people who renewed there ticket actually queued up for hours at the start. I know 2 blokes who queued up just to renew no seat relocations or anything. i just laughed.
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 If you're going to put reasons up for not having a ST, I'm going to be super critical of them. The reason I've never played Saturday league football?? So I can go to the City games You're not wrong when you say super critical! I enjoyed playing more than watching and wanted to do so for as long as possible as high as I could. I hope you don't regret missing out when you could have played !
crisp packet Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 I've just read the T&cs and they state that adult cannot be in the family stand without a under 18Cheers had an email from the club saying pretty much the same ?

I probably will mate but I'm 27 now and can't even be bothered to turn up for a sunday side anymore. I've lost interest to a degree
stripeyfox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Now the dust has settled a bit on the season ticket scramble, does anyone know how long you have to take in proof of age for the concession tickets?
Channies6thswan Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Now the dust has settled a bit on the season ticket scramble, does anyone know how long you have to take in proof of age for the concession tickets? When I bought mine they said I had until the end of June to take in proof of age for my kids.
m00nie Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 looking back at it now was it excellent marketing by the club ?? last game of the season, league champions, build up the big hype, sell to season ticket holders only, pretend sold out and get everyone gagging for tickets, announce a few more available, then release a few more each day. then announce only 7000 st will be available, everyone's still buzzing and not wanting to go through all the chance agan of missing out so the 7000 get snapped up in amazing time

theoldbluefox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 me and my lad have been season ticket holders since 2004 , we sit in N Block , he is now turning 18 on july 31st , i have until 2/6/14 to renew , i have a e mail stating that my and his seat has not been sold. do you think i am going to have problems re newing my seats , i was planning to go down on the 24th may to sort it.
Claridge Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I won't be renewing next season full stop no matter what the league, what's your thoughts on me?me neither, especially if people keep standing up and shouting/singing.
