Well there seems to be a distinct couple of groups who go to watch Leicester and those who go to watch the opposition then. I'm not bothered what people do, but there is lots of excuse making going on, at least you are honest about it.

Next season when we get smashed by one of the big 4/5, I hope those people walk home happy in the thought they just saw some good football from the opposite as we got trounced.

If people think they will get a better season than the one we just witnessed, or even huge chunks of the season before then they might end up disappointed. Value for money wise it's going to take some beating.

I'm really not arsed about the opposition in the slightest, I go to watch City and hope to see some decent football and that we have a good go. I appreciate not everyone is.

Well said that man, i`m exactly the same.

While we all rightly aspire for our club to be playing at the top level, whether it`s against Man United or Hereford United is irrelevant, it`s all about Leicester City for me.

Apparently every one will get a brand new season ticket? is this true? Also, does anyone know when the ticket will be delivered from past experience? cheers.

I did wonder when the first person would ask when they would get their cards.

If it isn't delivered until the day before the game there is no panick, infact if it still hasn't arrived on match day you'll get in.

I used to get excited about seeing big teams down here as a kid. But that was back in a time when not many games were on tv, the FA Cup final was THE biggest game of the year and footballers didn't all seem like a bunch of overpaid tossers (they probably were but didn't get the press coverage). They are all on TV every week now, they aren't some mythical figure you rarely see.... If I want to watch them I just change channel.

I was told yesterday when I went into renew they would arrive middle of july.

Lets wait and see lol

Did they say which year?

My big bro has got his first season ticket. He's always been to games but supporting his family has always been his priority. He's been promoted in his job and his daughter is now old enough to come to games. This is just another scenario that people don't think about. Now he can afford it and my niece is old enough he's getting a season ticket every season.

Everyone's circumstances are different. I know this time next year I'll probably have to pick and choose my away games so I'm making the most of getting to to every possible game I can at the minute.

This.

It amazes me how so many of us can judge the quality do a fan without a clue about that person or their circumstances.

Is it correct that n block having now been re graded as part of the family stand any existing season ticket holders with no kids are being told to move with no choice.

I understand why. But really is again kicking our own fans in the teeth.

Can anyone confirm this? Has it not always been the family stand?

Nobody has said everyone buying a ST is a glory boy, but they exist just as Berts example does.

It was until some fans decided to make parts of it an extension to L block. I guess this is part of stopping that.

thats what ive heard too....seems odd to me...this with the family stand....now you have to have kids to go in there...BUT they cant be over a certain age(over 22 i think)..

so the family end is more like....you cant be a family with kids over a certain age stand.

Actually I am a bit surprised the club didn't do a priority system for the new season tickets. For the future if we are successful in the Premier and increase the ground capacity, the club could

introduce a registration system like that operated by Glastonbury festival. With that you have to be registered before you can buy a ticket and there is a cut off date for registration prior to the tickets

going on sale. The club could do similar allowing people to register up to the cut off date or when registrations equal the amount of new season tickets that will be available.

I think they should of done like a priority system, Tuesday=15+ homes games, Wednesday10-15, Thursday, 5-10, and so on, would of been less busy, plus people who actually whent to games last season would of had first pick of seats

My seats in n block ???

Is that you confirming? Or hear say?

I've just read the T&cs and they state that adult cannot be in the family stand without a under 18

So if we're playing one of the big 4/5 on a school evening and there's a full house what will happen to the many parents who's children wont be there and there's no places for them to move to?

The thing that worried me as I queued for 6 hours on Monday was the general belief that this wasn't expected?

I am one of the fans who has supported City through thick and thin and seen them travel through Prem to League 1. Yes ok, I wasn't a STH last season but I attended as many games as I could, home and away and have done so for over 5 years whilst I haven't been a STH.

I was a STH for 4 solid seasons of Championship football but due to not living near Leics till more recently (Jan this year) I couldnt commit to a season ticket as it wasn't financially viable.

I knew as soon as we got confirmed promotion that this year all new STH would be snapped up in a matter of days...The bad thing about the Prem is people go to their local Prem club to watch the likes of Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea etc simply because they cannot get tickets to watch them live.

I know at least 5 work colleagues who live near London and did the same thing of purchasing a Fulham or West Ham ST because they could, even though they have no interest whatsoever in those clubs - they all support Man Utd and Liverpool and claimed that by at least watching a live Prem game each week they got great value for money.

Most fans in the queue when i was there, are true LCFC fans - the thing that could have been arranged better was LCFC expecting the high demand and therefore ensuring they had plenty of staff to man tills, phone lines being at least 10 operators and online system with IT consistently watching its flow. This would have made ST more available for those that are willing to travel far and wide. No matter the cost.

I'm chuffed I got mine as I can now get renewal rights whether or not we stay up! Prices will increase or freeze - they never go down...now I live a bit more local and have stability with work and finances I can fully commit to travelling home and away more often supporting the club I love.

Let's just hope that the stadium gets filled with a good atmosphere and fans join on cheering the lads on!

I appreciate that it was more of rhetorical question as no one on here can answer it and i doubt it has even crossed the mind of anyone at the club.

From my understanding n block didn't fall under the family stand. Hence why the club trialled the singing section years back.

A couple I know have had season tickets in there for a few years.

Now they have been told to relocate as they don't take an u18.

But having allowed 7k newbies and giving 16k a month to renew.

The choice of seats is a little limited. Plus most areas of the ground mean a price increase.

There's almost 10 thousand empty seats! there's plenty places to move too!

I think he's referring to areas that are popular for singing, the corners are largely empty in the Championship, I suspect most of the remaining seats are here or towards the half way line, therefor increase in price.

Sk1 is the place to move too for that

7 + 16 = 23 + 3k for away end and approx 800 for segregation thats closer to 27k.

not exactly a whole lot of choice.

Especially as they are looking at paying more whatever happens. All the jtt have gone.

Not really ideal.
