RizLCFC Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leicester-city/10810744/.html Interesting article by John, have a read.
Narborough_fox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I don't know if I could take Lloyd and Kingy leaving in the same season NB: Although John Percy is, most of the time, right regarding Leicester this goes completely against Pearson saying that we won't have heard of most of the players that we are interested in.

I'm glad you said 'most' of the players we are interested in, not all, so a few will come up like the 3 in that article, and I can see us signing all of them.
johnny the fox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 He is about informed on us as you or me...ps, powell has just been done for drink driving, hence he was not considered for last night..
Merging Cultures Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Said for ages we'll go for Nick Powell. He's on a drink driving charge isn't he? (or something like that). Doesn't seem to be a Pearson type player. I think he likes them to be 'clean'.
teblin Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Think we'll be spending more the £10million. Though I may be wrong.
Happy Fox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I think Percy isn't as informed as he once was before when he was on the ball for most transfers, not doubting his credibility but I doubt we would be spending just 10 million.
foxfanazer Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Interesting that when you have a look at Burnley's they have them likely to spend double what we do. Maybe just because they have a smaller squad. Think and hope we'll spend a bit more than £10m
cc_star Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Is that £10m in addition to the £180m Will we be able to get Ronaldo?
Narborough_fox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Burnley budget is x2 our budget. ****ing buying safety It's that 50% increase in season ticket prices that has done it. Given Sean Dyche 'many many pound notes' to spend to keep them off the the bottom of the table.
foxfanazer Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Is that £10m in addition to the £180m Will we be able to get Ronaldo? On a season loan maybe
Happy Fox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I expect we will sign a couple of free agents as well : Albrighton, Lescott etc.
DanTheFox07 Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Take that wanted list:- Nick Powell, Leonardo Ulloa, Aaron Cresswell
Itsthejoeker Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 He's on a drink driving charge isn't he? (or something like that). Doesn't seem to be a Pearson type player. Rusko187 Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I expect we will sign a couple of free agents as well : Albrighton, Lescott etc. Jurys out for me on Albrighton, Lescott I wouldn't mind as he's a fairly solid CB but his wages are going to be too much.
artursteppe Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I have to say, I cannot see Man Utd selling Nick Powell. Seems to me to be a very exciting prospect, who, reports suggest, could cost them £6 million in total from Crewe, depending on appearances etc. Could not see them selling him for less, probably a lot more. I see all these posts about we could not afford this player, or that player, yet so many people seem to think that we could get Powell. Only chance would be on loan in my view. I wouldn't mind it happening though. Reckon we'd have more chance of getting Cleverley.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Absolute tosh made up of some common knowledge (Robinson doing the contracts etc) and then pure speculation about who might be coming in and out. Pure drivel that you wouldn't normally expect from him as he normally pens pretty good articles.
Merging Cultures Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-captain-Wes-Morgan-fell-asleep/story-18748311-detail/story.html Very good point!!!
Kitchandro Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Ulloa would be a huge disappointment. He's just a run of the mill Championship striker. And he looks like a transvestite.
kingfox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 For the first time, I think John Percy is talking utter shit.
