Rhysm Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 I am sure he did have some "great times" whilst at Leicester - sadly never on the pitch. Too right. He sounded a bit bemused and said "actually, they wern't the best.... great club though"
Tommythefox06 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Been at Carrington today and word is that both Powell and Lawrence will go on loan to Leicester, Powell for the season, Lawrence possibly til January
Stevosevic Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 His tweets don't sound like hes involved in a transfer today. Waiting to play golf it seems Been at Carrington today and word is that both Powell and Lawrence will go on loan to Leicester, Powell for the season, Lawrence possibly til January They can't both come on loan.

bmt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Why not? Aren't the players who came in previously all on permanent deals?? Only allowed one from the same Premier League club I believe.
Tommythefox06 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 It was two according to the rules last year, unless something has changed
Father Ted Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Hope that he doesn't come in. Really struggle to see where he would fit in, Wigan fans weren't overly impressed with him in the Championship.
Babylon Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Hope that he doesn't come in. Really struggle to see where he would fit in, Wigan fans weren't overly impressed with him in the Championship. It's about options, he might not need to fit anywhere unless we have injuries. Wigan fans think Waghorn is the Messia.
Dr The Singh Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 It's about options, he might not need to fit anywhere unless we have injuries. Wigan fans think Waghorn is the Messia. So Powell is worse then Waghorn, oh dear!!!!!
Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 It's about options, he might not need to fit anywhere unless we have injuries. Wigan fans think Waghorn is the Messia. So did we in his loan/first year with us.
CosbehFox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 I watched him as a 16 yr old at Crewe come on against Stevenage and take the pish out of their defence. It was the most impressive display I've ever seen from a kid. Regardless of what happened, he has some massive raw talent. If people were open to signing Ravel, this lad is the same.
Bettsj2 Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Well this has gone quiet. Because he doesn't wasn't to come here.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Well this has gone quiet. Because Utd are busy tying up the Falcao and Blind deals
NewburyFox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Because he doesn't wasn't to come here. Well he sure as hell isn't going to play much for Man Utd this season and I can't see any established PL clubs coming in for him on loan. We're his best bet for regular PL football this season.
Master Fox Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Ian Stringer @StringerSport 1m The Jermain Defoe thing was fun for an hour or so. Don't lose focus on what I think will be THE signing for #LCFC - Nick Powell
Brooksy Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Rob Dorsett @Dorselator 5 mins Nick Powell has arrived at #lcfc training ground to discuss proposed loan deal from #mufc. #SkyDeadlineDay
