Who do you think will be top scorer at this summer's World Cup? One of the best players in the world right now - Messi or Ronaldo? Neymar in his home country?

 

I think it'll be Suarez or Messi.

Looking at Argentina'a group, Messi is the obvious choice.

Otherwise Benzema could notch a few by the quarters if the French get it together.

whoever scores most for argentina. their group is bosnia, iran and nigeria and their effectively at home in the climate, i'd expect them to be scoring at least 3 or 4 goals a game in that group. then when they win that they get the runner up in france's group, which should be between switzerland and ecuador, again nobody would be shocked to see another thrashing. so probably messi but maybe aguero or higuain or whoever else wants to play up front for them.

I think 5 of them on that list have scored more than Sturridge this season. Got to be a contender!

Think Thomas Muller has got a good chance. USA, Ghana and Portugal don't provide the strongest defences and Muller's got 16 in 47 for Germany.

 

Got the obvious choices of Messi, Neymar etc. as well. If it's going to be a 'big' name then it's go to be Messi for me, very weak group and is finding his form for country under Sabella now Tevez isn't there.

Messi. But I think Argentina will get to the final/semi final (minimum) so he has a good chance of playing a lot of games.

So on his current goals to game ratio for Germany, he would only score one goal v them three, not really a shoe in for top scorer..

I'm just hoping the winner gets at least 6 goals. The last 2 have had 5 I think. Every winner used to get 6 minimum.

I'd imagine if either Aguero or Messi can have a solid group phase they have a very good chance at winning it, potential for either of them to get hattricks against Nigeria and/or Iran.

Why the **** is Klose not on there? We all know he'll score ten goals with a combined yardage of about 15, including a hattrick of far post headers against the bottom seed in their group despite being about 45 and playing in ridiculous heat.
