Ive decided to be "That person" who chose other and i'll go for Dzeko or Lukaku :P

Messi or Aguero

Being fed with quality play from each other/ Di Maria & Rodriguez,  likely to play lots of games, In a weak group and with a nice route into the later stages. Conditions benefit the south american challenge too.

Daniel Sturridge.

Reverse everything i said about the conditions, quality service, a weak group and progressing to the later stages, you have Daniel Sturridge.

Ronaldo for me. Obviously it depends on how far they get. But you can virtually guarantee he'll play every game because Portugal are very likely to need something from their last game (unlike Argentina who will probably rest a couple)

Free kick & penalties guaranteed to be his

They say the true greats step up at the World Cup. He's proven what he can do under the big pressure games (ie Sweden hat trick)

Just my 2 cents

I saw Portugal in the play-off v Sweden, and my god it really was a one man performance.

If Ronaldo manages to lead this Portugal side into the last 4 it will be a performance equivalent of Maradona in 86 in my eyes.

I might stick a monkey on Fred.

No I won't, just found out a monkey is 500. Thought it was 20 or even less. I'll say a tenner.

Big news if true that Suarez is out of the world cup done his knee in training and got to have an operation. Aguero for me

I've hear he's having the op but should still be fit for the WC. Will surely have an effect though

History shows that many players are rushed back for major tournaments and they barely show up. Look at Rooney in 2006, absolutely pointless.

Yeah I meant it will have an effect on him, not him on the tournament. You can't not take a player like him though can you

It's shocking that it's been 24 years since we last had a player score more than 2 goals at a World Cup!

Only Gary Lineker (and David platt but he doesn't count because one was in the 3rd placed playoff and he's not from Leicester) have done it on foreign soil.

Leicester - cradle of the nation's football.

paddypower bringing back their offer for top scorer, place a 20 quid bet and every time your choice scores you get a free fiver. so all those on about messi/aguero etc bagging a hat trick in each group game get involved, you'd have almost made your money back and look like winning the bet anyway should either get a hat trick at any stage.

What, no Benteke, Lukaku, or Hazard?

I'll take money off you on a bet for Benteke to be top goal scorer. I'll give you 5000/1. You can bet as much as you like. :D

Not exactly golden boot but had a bet with a mate

I've said Eminike will score more than Dzeko. £10 on it

Who would you put your money on in a head to head?
