Swansea City has a bid on Kolbeinn Sigthorsson. Ajax calls for a transfer fee of about 9 million euros for the Icelandic striker. The concrete interest of the Premier League club is striking, since the employer of Jonathan de Guzman, Michel Vorm, Dwight Tiendalli and Marvin Emnes full for FC Twente striker Luc Castaignos seemed to go.

Swansea City recently reached an agreement with the Enschede club in main lines. Castaignos Sigthorsson, who now gets so competition of ten goals in 30 League matches last season.

For the 24-year-old international of Iceland, last week against Austria in a friendly international matches accurately (1-1) and Estonia (1-0), are still a number of English clubs in the market. Leicester City, Sunderland and West Ham United are already reported through an intermediary at Ajax. Sigthorsson contract with Ajax runs down the middle of next year.

Never heard of him, though if anybody's got a youtube clip, by page two of this thread I'll be giving a critical dissemination as to what he would bring to our side like I know him as a brother.

Yeah I've been watching this fella closely for a while now - he's exactly what we need, strong, fast - provides good link up play can win headers from Kaspers long kicks and most importantly can play the lone striker role.

Would be a fantastic signing.

However I won't judge a player I know nothing about!

Why not?

This is what Transfer Talk was founded on.

Doesn't have the best goal scoring record in a poor league? Not to sure what to think on this one. However I won't judge a player I know nothing about!

He looks the type of player we need up front, good shooting and heading ability, pretty quick and agile and wouldn't be too much on the expensive side.

Also, he's played and scored in the Europa League with AZ Alkmaar, as well. So he does know what it's like to play on a slightly higher level than the Eredivisie.

Looks a really tough and determined livewire. No peace for defenders with him around. But is he just another Waghorn. Okay to a point.

It really is amusing how some people on here judge players they know nothing about. See it time & time again. Someone will either say I think h"e would be great for us", or "he doesn't have the ability in the prem". Then at the end of the sentence finish it with something like, "however I haven't seen him play before"

I will take your word for it. Very heavy price tag if we only have 10m to spend like reports suggest.

Errr there's a 90 second youtube clip to watch what more do you need? This guy scores with litterally every chance he gets, and is a battler too. The sort who doesn't go missing on a wet Tuesday evening away at Cambuur or Go Ahead Eagles.

He's deadly with the ball played in front of him and just the keeper to beat.

Easily worth £10m and we should slap our money on the table before anyone else sees the clip.

This did make me laugh! The funny thing is that's how some people on here actually react.

I would take the £10m with a pinch of salt, though. Reported transfer fees are often inflated for the public and/or by the media.

Add-ons also play a part in a deal.

Plus, we'd have to pay him out of his contract that runs until next summer.

Much rather have Finbogasson. Would probably be cheaper too.

From what I gather, Finnbogason would cost even more than Sigthorsson.
