While in terms of young and up coming talent, Castiagnos has already gone, but Jurgen Locadia is also highly rated, 6ft3 built like a brick.

You can see for yourself, that Finnbogason & Pelle have been the most consistent. And like I said ages ago, why not go for Castiagnos, but obviously Swansea see something in him, so tbh I didn't pluck his "potential" out of thin air. Why do people have to shoot others down when they display a broad knowledge out of the game? Apparently it's impossible to know about a player from a foreign league without watching the games and if you don't know then it's "because of Fifa or Football Manager".

If you have no idea about a player then you shouldn't try and pass judgement on them. Kingfox tries to disay his broad football knowledge by posting opinions about players from a league he doesn't even watch.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 I watch Feyenoord every now and then when I'm completely out of my arse at 11AM on a Sunday morning because they're the only Dutch side I've anything approaching interest in, and I would split a log if we signed Graziano Pelle, purely for the guy's gorgeous face more than anything else, I mean come on.... I'd like to add, I've no idea about this Ajax chap really.

But you're assuming that you have to do both of those things to have an opinion of a well known footballer from one of the better leagues in Europe. It just annoys me that anyone who thinks a player from a foreign league would be a good signing gets slated because he obviously got his information from his stats in Football Manager. As though nobody could watch the odd game and have access to his playing stats.

I barely have enough time to keep up with one team, let alone mutilple leagues, players etc. to be fair, there is a lot of coverage and analysis on the major leagues and players so it's not completely unlikely that people would know about our targets. Saying that when someone says that some second tier guy from France is "a beast" or they start talking in detail about attributes or stats is when I smell Football Manager/FIFA.
