Also a great wink to all his haters and doubters. He brings so much more to the game than just penalties, but some are quick to disregard those qualities. Well done, Nugent!

I do think his role may change as the set up does when the inevitable target man arrives and we do more with crosses and set pieces with the likes of Albrighton. In this case I see him playing behind the front man more often, or coming on as an impact sub. The biggest thing I hope to see is a more clinical edge. Chances will be fewer, and he will need to take them. His work rate will serve us well, and there is definitely something to be said for keeping such a prolific strike partnership together when taking on the new challenges of the Prem. Aside from Dyer, who had lost his place at the end of the year anyway, we bring back the entire team that did so well last year. I think its very good business by the management, and I hope to see it pay off with a solid campaign that stays relatively free from relegation worries. Here's hoping

Quality of life isn't just a big house and some nice surroundings . . access to amenities, transport links (closeness to the motorway junction 21 etc), proximity to the centre and training ground, schools . . . Call me bias but Countesthorpe has a very good mix on most fronts and while there are more picturesque areas of the county, no doubt, that doesn't mean they are better places to live. that said, the original post was in relation to how attractive the place was, so I guess they weren't talking about that anyway! Anyway my point is that I can understand why he'd live there . . Schools? Countesthorpe college? FFS move as soon as poss

He's matured and become a much more complete footballer over the years. Who says he can't maintain the same level on a constant basis? I'd definitely give him the benefit of the doubt and would love to see him break his previous PL scoring record (6).
