But that is not quality. There is a reason barca, madrid or bayern win at a canter it's called the best of the best. We fill our sides with average players. Big, strong, powerful, etc. Look how our media reveres yaya toure. Yet in spain he couldn't get a game. Time we gave barkley and whilshire etc time to grow. But he did get games..

Leicester are a massive part of my life. Don't get me wrong though, I would love England to do well.. and maybe when Mourinho is appointed and the young team have grown, England could actually do something

Because our league is quality we attract league players, who on average over 40-odd games will give you enough wins to achieve your aims. We don't produce cup teams, which barca, bayern and Madrid are, because their leagues are high quality twins of Scotland. They cruise, they strike and they take the rest of the game off, and they get wound up for the occasional big match. The only English team who could play in cups was Liverpool under Benitez-and they were budget in the league during that period.

I didn't say I wouldn't be happy, we just wouldn't deserve it. You can't rely on other teams, you have to ensure you are good enough to progress/win something (at any level). That applies to my club and Country. Being happy with it, is a different subject.
