Could You Pass Your Driving Theory Test Again?

13/20, and I've got my theory test in 3 weeks...

In fairness though the unconscious cyclist question is stupid - you remove them from the road and seek medical assistance, don't leave them on the bleeding road.

What if they've hurt their back or neck? Surely the last thing you should be doing is lifting someone up.

18/20 and like I said, when I passed this didn't even exist.

Same here. I never took the test, but did very nearly run over a dustbin man on the practical test off Hallam Crescent.

18 out of 20.

What sort of score do you need to get to pass?

18/20 - think I fluffed a question that I did on my actual theory test 10 years ago haha

Get a copy of the Highway Code and read through it at least twice. To score 13 means you must be getting some very basic stuff wrong. Steve Walsh 5 was right about leaving someone in the road - it's not about where you leave them, if someone has a possible neck/back injury moving them could cause permanent paralysis. Surely you've seen any number of traffic emergency shows on TV before?

The theory test is 50 questions and the number needed to pass is 43. There are a possible 1000 questions you can get.

I have a copy of the highway code, and I have read it. I got the motorcycle one wrong, right hand lane of a motorway (I've seen cars towing in that lane), White stick with Red band, Motorway slip-road stud colour, telling the speed limit on unmarked roads (took a 50/50, obviously not yellow lines or the hazard lines), Using the horn (I thought from 9 till dawn, 11:30 sounded too late) & tread depth.

I'd say that only the speed limit, tread depth and horn would be basic, and as for the tread depth, you should be changing at 2.5mm anyway, the legal limit is pathetically low.

Nope, Traffic emergency shows are boring as hell. I hadn't thought about spinal injuries, but first instinct for anyone would be to move a person out of harms way.

17/20.

Comfortable.

Theory was easy when I did it. Don't know why people found it so hard. Most was just common-sense.

20/20. I didn't find any of the questions hard? lol

Its not always a case of questions being too hard sometimes the four answers are very similar and/or are all correct in some way. So it always used to seem anyway

Bollocks such as There is a lot of snow on the road, you should

a) blabla

b) blabla

c) drive with care

d) don't go out at all

Over the weekend we were talking about the difference in tests in the UK to the USA. My sister has an automatic and my brother was using it to transport people. We found out by my nephews googling that the reason why they start so yoing in the US is that the test consists of driving around a carpark with cones. The majority of cars are auto and from what was found out an American license is not valid in the UK We summised that the US roads are either hundreds of miles long or towns so there is less need for gear changes. Perhaps an US Fox can confirm or refute this.

I think I would have been better in an auto. My last lessons was in one then I was in a gear for my last lesson after which I was advised to give up because of co ordination problems. At least I am still alive and have not wrapped a car round a tree.
