Well we bloody need him as GTF coming on to play CM isn't quite what I had in mind for our Premiership adventure!!

I refuse to get excited about any new rumours or apparent ITK's

Hope he signs but will wait until I see him in Leicester shirt before I believe any of this shite

I really am over this now.

If i'm honest he's going to have to be fucking amazing to win me over, Ok there may be reason's, maybe out of his control why this has took so long - even if he does sign this time, but i'm not being funny this whole saga could have been speeded up i'm sure, like I say it might not be entirely his fault but his representative have let's say tainted my opinion of him.

To me, and again I may be totally wrong in saying this but to me it seems he (Or his representatives) have been waiting for a bigger offer or club to come for him, at the end of the day though regardless of his representatives - if he really wanted to come here his decision would be final and he could have put his foot down.

It's like Pearson said the other day, the reason he doesn't like things being leaked is because it upset's other club, the player's themselves, and the fans form opinions one way or another, my opinion is this should have had it's conclusion atleast a week or 2 ago - and even then it had dragged on too long.

I feel we could have been focussing on other deals and getting other, more important matters sorted rather than chasing this dare I say it primadonna.

I've been sliding towards this view for a while now. Thing is I know I'll be bouncing round the house if it ever gets announced.

I have to say I'm not really excited about this anymore. It's probably just hearing it's happening, or already has happened, so many times only to find out it isn't or hasn't. It's the boy who cried wolf. It's made me apathetic.

Now the season's started, and we look pretty impressive, I have a slight worry about the squad becoming unsettled by a signing like this - if it ain't broke, maybe you shouldn't fix it. Hopefully, I'm just being paranoid, and if this happens, it turns out to be worth the wait.

On second thought, if I see a photo of Esteban Cambiasso holding a Leicester shirt, I'll be pretty bloody over the fvcking moon.

Somebody mentioned earlier that there would be more news on this tonight and the Mirror have been all over this from day 1.

Hopefully this means things are looking good and he can be signed in time to get some game time against Shrewsbury!

It's been a saga for sure, but if he had a chance of getting an offer from the Spanish champions and champions league runners up, you can understand why he may just check that out before signing for us!

Doubt they will unveil our most prestigious player (wages wise) EVER vs Shrewsbury

He won't be match fit yet, training all week and sub vs Arsenal.

I really hope West ham are kicking themselves - they insisted on him coming for a trial before they would make him an offer. He felt insulted by that, apparently.

To see if he still had 'it' I imagine.

Great for us though, choosing Leicester over London it seems

The fact he's not match fit is the exact reason I'd love him to get an hour or so midweek. The more game time he can get the better! It might help sell a few more tickets too.

Don't mate. Hammond has been great and Pearson won't drop him if his form doesn't fall off.

The difference here is that we actually need a Cambiasso thread now.

Your thread (I assume it was you at least) was unnecessary because it could easily have gone in the original Cambiasso thread we had open. All you were doing was creating clutter on the forum because you felt your opinion deserved more attention than others'.

This is different though. The existing Cambiasso thread is closed and there's new information. Clearly it's worth posting this information and since it can't be put in the other thread we have to have a new one.

It's not difficult to work out.

Erm no your totally incorrect it was locked, and both were re-posts from the press

My apologies about the thread being locked but the article you posted was not new information. "Cambiasso wanted by Leicester" is all the headline says. It wasn't news.

The report that he's now flown in for talks along with Fourth Official's tweet means there are now things to talk about again.

The point is its a Leicester forum, it was a relevant news article that had just been released.

Regardless of context (Managers opinion) some people might have been interested/unaware in reading that news story, so 3 days later to start a thread and do exactly the same thing and re-post what is written in the press after commenting "Ah Yes. A Cambiasso thread. I was just thinking we needed one of these....." is a little hypocritical given the circumstances.

It was actually just a regurgitation of the several other stories that had been posted. It was nothing new and that was why it was closed.

But really. Get a life. It's just an Internet forum!
