Cambiasso's in then he's out in out in out shakes us all about!

Not quite.

If we believe the article, it seems his original plan was to choose London over Leicester...

Anyway, it's clear the reason why this is taking so long - clearly he thought he'd wait around for a bit longer in case a better offer came in. Which is fair enough when you think about it - football players are in effect self-employed. As fans we just assume everyone in the world wants to play for Leicester, but the cold hard reality is that they don't. He'll come to us if he thinks we're the best he can get, end of.

Wash your mouth out !!   :P

It's blatantly obvious we are a last resort to this guy. For that I don't want him, we don't need him. If he comes to Leicester I hope he gets booed because that's what time wasting, money grabbing tossers deserve! He will have to win me over again if we get him.

I really am over this now.

If i'm honest he's going to have to be fucking amazing to win me over, Ok there may be reason's, maybe out of his control why this has took so long - even if he does sign this time, but i'm not being funny this whole saga could have been speeded up i'm sure, like I say it might not be entirely his fault but his representative have let's say tainted my opinion of him.

To me, and again I may be totally wrong in saying this but to me it seems he (Or his representatives) have been waiting for a bigger offer or club to come for him, at the end of the day though regardless of his representatives - if he really wanted to come here his decision would be final and he could have put his foot down.

It's like Pearson said the other day, the reason he doesn't like things being leaked is because it upset's other club, the player's themselves, and the fans form opinions one way or another, my opinion is this should have had it's conclusion atleast a week or 2 ago - and even then it had dragged on too long.

I feel we could have been focussing on other deals and getting other, more important matters sorted rather than chasing this dare I say it primadonna.

NO PLAYER LIKE HIM WANTS TO COME TO ****ING LEICESTER.

Who do you think we are? If he's got offers from established La Liga teams then fair fvcking play to him, he's well within his rights to consider those. Do you honestly think we should only sign players that jump at the chance of signing for massive, wonderful Leicester?

The only positive I can have if this happens is Pearson and his staff rarely get a transfer wrong.

But I'm not happy the way it's been handled wherever the problem has been.

Shit everyone, Matt isn't happy. Let Matt sort it all out next time.

Actually to be fair to Matt, Pearson has clearly said (now whether it's the truth or not) that the hold up isn't down to 'footballing' reasons. So really that says to me that our set-up (owners, stadium, training fac.) should be up to standard for attracting a player.

Seems to me that Cambiasso has a few owners, but some percentage owner, wants to cash out big style, went to the press to try and drub either competition for his name, thus pissing off Pearson. I perceive Cambiasso having no issues, and perhaps his agent, but this individual is holding out until the last minute to try to get something more from this deal and won't give in. This is why we may well find this going down to the line.

Is this helpful to us right now? No. We have a glut of unfortunately timed injuries to the midfield. Had we not, there wouldn't be an issue bringing him desperately, though definitely would be better to get him match fit.

I'd certainly like this to happen regardless if it takes him a few months to get up to speed, as he can potentially be great influence on the squad and the midfield in training and under 21s, even before he gets into the team. With him biting at your heels pushing a for a spot our midfield can only become stronger.

People getting sick of this transfer one way or another do make me chuckle, as having someone like this at the end of the transfer fishing line is a small coup, but in the long run the length of time isn't surprising, frustrating as it could actually help boost other signings, but I'm feeling optimistic.

Matt is saying he has to win him over though like he is representing some sort of prize. It's Esteban fvcking Cambiasso. Matt needs to get over himself, it's embarrassing. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, it doesn't.

Esteban Cambiasso said to have arrived in England to finalize his transfer to Leicester City, Sunday (24/8).
As reported by The Mirror, though also got an offer from West Ham United, Argentine players prefer Leicester.
With The Foxes, Cambiasso will sign a contract for two seasons until summer 2016.
Cambiasso is currently a free transfer after Internazionale Milan decided not to renew his contract which expires at the end of last season.

People saying they're not bothered if Cambiasso comes cos we've  got Hammond lol

To be fair a couple of weeks ago I would have joined in with your laughter in fact scrolling back through the 100 pages I probably said the same thing, however he really has stepped upto the mark and been 1 of our best players first 2 games of the season. I still would love Cambiasso to join but I no longer think Hammond should be shown the door because of it

This!!.. Hammond has earnt his chance.. Give him a decent run!

Cambiasso may have just wanted to see if we could compete before he signed? At this stage of his career, he wouldnt want to be playing for a team getting spanked every week and looking to him to be the answer.

Meh. He's done ok, but for me he didn't exactly protect the back four as well as I would have liked - Chelsea had a run through the middle too often.

He's still well below the class of Cambiasso, Drinky & James, and in the long run we can't afford to have him in the first 11.

Well its near the end of the afternoon and surprise surprise we have heard nothing when he was meant to be signing today, who here predicted this?
