He's one of my all time favourite players and the thought of him pulling on our jersey genuinely makes me so proud of this club. I think back to the dross in CM over the last 10 years or so; Gareth Williams, Stephen Hughes, joey gudjonsson(from the halfway line), lily nalis.. This list is endless. To have Esteban Cambiasso come in and hopefully have a positive influence on our younger players like Drinky, James, mcarthur(not as young and dependant on him signing), Kingy is absolutely priceless... A lot of people question him by saying he's been playing in a league that's not been the same for a number of years and he's 34. This isn't your average big name final pay day signing, this is a man that oozes class, total professional and someone our entire squad can look up to and hopefully try and replicate his career success wise at least. Apply yourself like Esteban has for his career and the players at our club will go on to be part of something special. Fingers crossed something happens soon with this deal!

He's just another one of those players who is judged negatively cos he played in a shit side. Matt Oakley never gets mentioned because he was captain of the league one side but the truth remains he was gash at Championship level.
