I can just see it now on SSN in a few days 'Cambiasso signs for QPR' I really hope theres no middle ground here anymore from Pearson its either welcome aboard or tell him to **** off

Say's a lot about what motivates him, I think that will be enough for Pearson to say that this deal is done and that he doesn't what a player looking for a big wage playing for us. We should switch target's now!

If this doesn't happen now, as sadly may be the case just from us losing patience, what is the most disheartening thing from all of this is the fact it sounds as if everything was agreed and at the 11th hour someone in the Cambiasso camp (not going to speculate who that is) seems to have shifted the goalposts AGAIN. I know gentleman's agreements are no more than that, but, it does make you doubt the credibility of some people's intentions - in football and elsewhere.

I know I'm probably quite old school but I am of the opinion when you commit to something, even verbally, you see it through.

The deal to bring Esteban Cambiasso to #LCFC was all agreed but now in serious doubt as player/agents believed to have changed their demands

GeoffPetersTalkSPORT@talkSPORTgeoff 1m

Cambiasso not thought to have any other offers on the table; #LCFC holding firm, sticking to the deal all parties were originally happy with

The Cambiasso deal is not dead but I understand #LCFC are not prepared to wait much longer and are already working on other midfield options

There's only one Dean Hammond!!!

Sounds like the Mirror article may have been his agents way of getting West Ham interested again. Highlighting he's in London and focussing on how he prefers West Ham to us.

Possibly although my pigeon Italian says he was very offended that they asked him for a trial before making an offer.

Either way, perhaps too many fingers in too many pies on this deal and we are perhaps a bit naive.

Maybe we need to use an agent to sort it out in which case it gets really expensive, ( in context)

I'd be tweeting something else to his brother. Guessing he is the main man on all of this.

Also Geoff, is this a new development or the reason why it went wrong earlier this week?

I hope he doesn't sign now. If all this media stuff is true, let him go for a trial at west ham.

Hope we get a CDM in still.

Surely Pearson won't hold out much longer if Cambiasso is waiting for West Ham to make an offer?

It will only be a matter of time before QPR become interested and offer him £100,000 a week.

Couldn't care less if he signs, lots and of faith in the lads who got us here, and he's not bigger than the club, move on nige and get someone in who is of the same ilk as the rest of our committed squad.

Some bloody people!:facepalm::facepalm: Yes, I mean you!

Everything I said was correct though. He is a time wasting money grabber, we are his last resort as I predicted a week or so ago. I don't understand how anyone can disagree with someone else because they don't want to sign a player that clearly has no interest in Leicester City, I'd rather sign no one if that's the case.

I'd hope for one of three endings now.

1 - He signs after he instructs his agents back down and all is well that ends well

2 - LCFC tell his agents to fvck off and don't ever take the piss out of us again.

3 - He doesn't sign, West Ham fvck him off and QPR say they ain't interested and finds himself screwed and club-less due to his management/agents.

Cake and eat it anyone?

it seems he or his advisors think he is bigger than the club already, leave him twisting in the wind.

Just out of interest, why are none of the so big clubs keen on him?

They've probably watched him last season and seen that his legs have gone or no longer upto the required standard.
