The Football Italia website reports this morning that City are interested in signing Napoli's Macedonian striker, Goran Pandev.  It's us and Galatarasay in for him, apparently.

Yes, he was at Inter between 2009 and 2012.  A 6'1", 31 year old who's played for years in Serie A (most of his time with Lazio).  26 goals in 75 appearances for Macedonia (the all time top scorer for them - but then, they've only been going for a few years !).  Galatarasay are favourites to get him - of course !

Don't see this being true - but would be a decent signing if it is. Not just a goal scorer - him and Vardy, supported by Drinky and Cambiasso could be interesting!

He's definitely on the way out of Naples, but we shouldn't touch him with a bargepole. Byword for inconsistent throughout his career and is now declining rapidly. This isn't going to happen though, seems like they've just put a random name to a club who it's well known are after a striker.

I honestly don't see why people are getting excited about this. He was at his best 3/4 years ago in Mourinho's & Leonardo's Inter side, playing as a second striker or coming inside from the wing. This isn't like Cambiasso, a world beater who has boatloads of skill and class.
