I don't like/get how the news shove their camera's in the faces of those in high street stores. One employee was saying "no comment", I mean, they only work for Phones4U they don't own the company. Ask those at the top.

Pre ordered the iPhone 6 with these and now they've gone into admin and they've charged me full whack off my card, so now I'm the best part of £500 down with no word on whether I'm actually getting my phone.

Customer service number is down and all the stores are closed.

Am I not gonna see the phone or money again

Obviously, there is an onus on the seller / producer to satisfy the customer's reasonable expectations. But the customer is categorically NOT always right and is indeed sometimes an arsehole.

 

Reasonable expectations / conduct should also be expected of customers. This ridiculous customer-worship, which used not to exist, stems from profits being seen as more important than people. Wrong!

If reports that Apple won't be able to deliver until November for later orders are correct I'd guess you'll feel pissed off. Why not buy one of these instead http://oneplus.eu a better phone and far cheaper

The transaction is still outstanding according to barclays meaning P4U haven't claimed it yet, and with them being in admin, they won't claim it so the money will be credited back to my account at Midnight on Friday 19th September

I know this isn't a iPhone 6 thread per se, but thought i'd put it in here anyway.

 

I've been waiting for it to come out for ages to see if it was any better/had many new features compared to the iPhone 5S and it's not from what I can see, unless people can tell me otherwise.

 

It's nearly £40 most places and they want you to pay over the odds upfront aswell, so I looked at getting the 5S...it's hardly any bloody cheaper!!

 

Tempted to just buy a iPhone 5S off somewhere like play.com (Anyone bought iPhone/phones off there?) for about £430 then keep the rolling sim I have thats about £12.90.

Amazed these lot kept going for so long anyway. The networks each have their own shops and, regardless, surely most people research and purchase the best deal online?

They were buying large amounts of contracts with discounts that they passed to consumers so slightly undercutting the prices a single user could get, it was always under threat from networks decisions to take the business away and add the discounts to their profits

Right, that makes sense. Am I right in saying that also, in many cases, the contract was with Phones4u and the connection with the network?
