Foxestalk's Friendly Tipping Competition

Barnet vs Eastleigh @ 4/6

Barnet currently sit top of the conference premier and are averaging 2 points per game at home so far this season with 4 wins from their opening 6 home fixtures. Eastleigh on the other hand are struggling in mid-table with indifferent form, picking up only one victory on their travels so far this season.

Hellas Verona vs Cagliari @ 23/20

Cagliari smashed Inter 4-1 at the San Siro in their last trip but disregarding that had only previously won once on the road in the past 18 months. Verona however have proved themselves as an efficient side, narrowly missing out on a Europa League spot last season and currently sitting pretty in 7th so far this season.

£10 pays £35.83.

89th minute winner for verona after being dominated all game haha softens the blow of today a bit i guess.

4/11 safety car in Japanese F1

4/7 15:15 Saturday @ longchamp - citrus des aigles

Double, £10 pays £21.42

Great Cirrus crosses the post first to then be disqualified! Just my luck.

Hope some of you followed the safety car tip, that element was as close to printing money as it gets, especially with a hurricane so close by.

I'll join in if that's still ok!

Swansea and Bury double (both been explained by others).

10 pays 33.20 with Skybet.

To catch up I'll do a Sunday one:

Chelsea - always seem to be the reliable side in the big games, home form is always good and Arsenal are seemingly always picked off defensively by the better teams.

West Ham - showing signs of being able to put the ball in the net this season as opposed to last. Defence is still relatively sound and QPR are struggling.

Chelsea and West Ham £10 double pays 31.82 with Skybet.

Cheers.

1/2 ain't a bad start.

So another largely unsuccessful weekend! My tip was rubbish.

We saw HowardsBulletHeader get involved and give us a winner which shoots him up the leaderboard into profit, where not many of us are hanging! Unluckiest loser of the weekend has to go to AS78UK who gave us a winner and another winner who was disqualified, nightmare stuff.

Big up to Tom17LCFC who puts clear distance between himself and everyone else with his second winning tip in 3 rounds putting him into a huge profit so far. Played son.

Midweek bet:

Preston to beat Port Vale @ 7/10

Preston are in good form and scoring for fun at home, put 4 in the onion bag on Saturday and I fancy them at just under evens to dispatch the Vale.

Bury to beat Morcombe @ 4/5

Bury are on fire at the minute and won on Saturday, fancy them to continue winning ways and beat Morcambe.

£10 double pays £30.60 with William Hill as per odds checker.

Midweek tip:

Orient away at Dagenham & Redbridge at evens. Orient a league above and Dagenham are always near the bottom of league two.

Coventry at home to Exeter at 8/13.

Again, Coventry are a league above Exeter and have home advantage too.

£10 double pays £32.31.

Midweek tips:

Bristol Rovers (4/9) vs Dartford - Bristol Rovers unbeaten at home all season winning 5/7, only conceding 3. Dartford have shown improved form of late, but the home strength of Rovers should prevail.

Preston (7/10) vs Port Vale - Preston have won 3 on the spin, Port Vale are 22nd in the league form guide and only won once in six attempts away from home. With Vale currently in the bottom 4 and with Preston just 2 points off an automatic place it should be a home win for North End.

£10 double pays £24.56 with Skybet.

Catch up tip:

Tamworth vs AFC Fylde (21/20)- Fylde have won on 7 on the spin, in their last 3 away games they have scored 15 goals conceding just 1. This includes an 8-1 drubbing of Oxford City who are 4th themselves. Fylde have the leagues best defensive record and unsurprisingly sit top of the form guide. Tamworth are 20th in the form guide having not won in the last 6, only scoring 2 goals in their last 3 home games. Above evens looks too good of a price to turn down!

Gateshead (2/5) vs Alfreton Town - Gateshead unbeaten in 6, won 5/7 at home. Alfreton have a shocking away record losing 6/7 and only scoring 3 goals, while leaking 17 in the process.

£10 double pays £28.70 with Skybet.

Souse Fox thanks for keeping this up to date, it must take a while! If this runs all season it would be really interesting to see.

Midweeks

Tamworth v Fylde @2.15

Fylde have won 7 in a row scoring 15 goals in their last 3 away games alone. They sit top of Conf North. Tamworth are draw specialists in this league and have only scored 11 goals in 11 games. Currently they sit in the relegation zone with no win in 9 league games.

Plymouth v Swindon @2.10

In fairness to Plymouth, 8th in L2 they have a good home record winning 4 of 6 this season but Swindon have an equally impressive away record. Sitting 2nd in L1 and two away wins in their last 2 games I expect them to make it three in a row.

£10 returns £45.15

yeah nice one for doing all this scouse!

midweek double for me.

Gateshead vs Alfreton @ 2/5.

Gateshead have amassed 16 points from their opening 7 homes games this season and sit inside the play-offs in the conference premier. Alfreton on the other hand ended last season terribly and began this one with 7 straight defeats with no real sign of improvement as they sit 23rd, 4 points adrift of safety already.

Raymond Van Barneveld vs Dave Chisnall @4/5

The world grand prix (darts) started today and despite Chisnall finishing runner-up last year, he is very inconsistent and much a confidence player. Despite both player's form being fairly indifferent, the head-to-head record between the two over the last few years reads Barney (4), Chisnall (1) and 1 draw.

£10 returns £25.20.

need a win to get back on track and stay in the green. this midweek i'm going for

mk dons (vs wimbledon) @ 8/15

mk are simply a far superior side. at home. a league above. you'd think maybe the seemingly overpriced odds are because some of league one's "bigger" sides don't have a care for this competition, but i'd be amazed if they play a severely weakened side against wimbledon, with the history. they've also beaten wimbledon in both previous meetings.

over 5.5 goals (england vs san marino) @ 1/2

san marino are probably the worst international side in the world, and whilst we're hardly a free flowing, attacking joy, we should stick 6+ past these clowns. we beat them 8-0 last time we played, and only once in 4 meetings has this failed to go over 5.5.

£10 double pays £23.

it's not much effort to put this together tbf, you all help by posting odds and returns etc, and i hardly ever even have to check results because most are in here post bets celebrating or bemoaning their luck :D

Strange midweek tip for me but here goes.

Simon Whitlock v Richie Burnett (1/3)

Whitlock struggled over the last darting season, failing to recapture his form of the previous few years. However in this short format of the game his scoring should be enough to get the job done against Burnett.

Billy McKinlay next Fulham manager (Evens)

There has been some strange goings on at Watford in recent weeks, and McKinlay seems to be the 3rd coach out the door this season. McKinlay spent years as a player at Fulham and has been strongly linked with the job over social media in the last 24 hours.

£10 Returns £26.60 with Bet Victor.

Belgium -3 (4/11) vs Andorra; Quite self explanatory. Belgium will smash Andorra.

Sweden vs Russia DRAW (9/4); These two seem evenly matched and neither particularly high scoring. It has draw written all over it for me.

£10 would return £44.30.

Especially now Zlatan is a doubt.

It seems like an absolute banker for 0-0 or 1-1. Two pretty dull sides IMO (bar Ibrahimovic).

Capello knows Ibrahimovic inside out. Mind you given the nature of Zlatan, I'm not sure he does lol

Preston 3-2

Gateshead 2-0

Easy money!
