dmayne7 Posted 19 September 2014 Posted 19 September 2014 Our ratings are a joke. They're actually worse than on FUT. We're only a 3 1/2 star team because Cambiasso bumps it up. Even the potential of our players is embarrassing. Not a single player with 80 or above. I simmed 3 seasons to test and I think Drinkwater up to 75 was the highest and that was playing in the PL each season. Moore was 82/83 at the end of FIFA 14 but now he's less than 80 again. Ashley, you can say we're not hated by EA which is true, but we're also shown no respect. It probably goes against us that David Rutter (the Head of FIFA) supports us as that can honestly be the only reason we're so poor. Somebody like Andy King only being 68 (and having a top stat of 73 and only a few 70's) despite being a top championship player for a number of years just sums it up really. Obviously guys like Mahrez, Drinky and Moore should be higher based on last season (as should every player in the team) but for players to be established as one of the best in the division and still be an average championship player...

It's like Raheem Sterling last year, he was criminally underrated. Not really. They're not great across the board. Even now I'd argue at 80, and dribbling only 84, he's pretty underrated.

Edit: 14:53 On the topic of penalties, for total authenticity the referee is standing on completely the wrong side of the penalty area for the penalty. IRL he'd have the assistant in front of him therefore be standing on the other side

leftbackinthechangingroom Posted 19 September 2014 Posted 19 September 2014 Playing the early access and the away fans are definitely in the right place the game camera is where the tv cam is so it's authentic. Loving how the stadium looks in the game also a nice touch to have the advertising hordings display our actual sponsors as well. My only gripe is I've not heard any city songs just that generic stuff we had last year too. As for player faces not actually too bothered by that as I don't see them when I'm playing anyway other then the cut scenes.

And as for the away fans sitting in the kop, what's that all about?!? Last time I listen to you! As Ashley says, the away fans are in the correct corner. God knows where you got the kop from. Really impressed with the stadium. 2-1 up against Hull at half time on online seasons in my first game. Up the foxes!

Selecting my starting lineup makes me realise just what a great squad we have now, particularly in midfield. Really hard choice. Cambiasso bosses the middle on here. My main gripe is our defence seem really slow. I had to put schlupp into leftback as I was getting caught on the break constantly, which isn't realistic. Think Vardy should be quicker than he is aswell. Enjoying it so far.

In regards to the faces, it does say in the original press release about the PL stuff that "Over 200 new player heads will be scanned into FIFA 15 from the 2013/14 Premier League teams and will be joined by promoted teams". So I'm assuming they'll add them at a later stage.

But it means on Fifa, one through ball and the opposition is through on goal with no chance of catching them. How often does that happen to us in real life, hardly ever.
