TimG Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Nugent pace is an 80 was last season. His first touch has been downgraded due to him being in an high category. Overalls mean nothing.. how many more times. I'm sure Vardy finishing is low 70 which is about right. Morgan defending hasn't be downgraded? Last season Nugent had 84 acceleration and 80 sprint speed (http://www.futhead.com/14/players/1529/david-nugent/). This year he seems to have 78 for both? (http://www.futhead.com/15/players/4884/david-nugent/) "His first touch has been downgraded due to him being in a high category" Ok, but is a decrease from 77 to 69 ball control really justified? You say overalls mean nothing, but aren't they a product of the players in game stats? Surely if Leicester's overall ratings seem low in comparison to those of similar quality teams then Leicester's players also have, on average, lower in game stats? I take your point about Vardy's finishing, although I feel it could be a little higher than 71 (Zamora has 73 finishing) and his other shooting stats should be a little higher as well I think. Also, why does he only have 55 balance? Sorry, My mistake re. Morgan. I see now that his in game defending stats haven't changed, but for some reason his defending rating on his ultimate team card has dropped by 3? Do you not feel he deserves an upgrade though after being the captain and one of the best performers in a team which got 102 points last season?
Mark_w Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 So if the stats that are now up on FUThead are right, I don't have much problem with any of them. I'm no expert but I would probably improve the following. Mahrez - Vision 69 (I'd have his much higher than Knockaert's and he's 71. See Everton through ball for Schlupp that led to the awful effort, Vardy assist Forest away, basically any Mahrez youtube video will have a few examples), Curve 39, Crossing 61, Reactions 55. Mahrez is the only player I disagree with in quite a few areas. King - Finishing 70 (I think his finishing should be better than Nugent and Vardy personally). Also not sure about Vardy having high defensive work rate while Nuge has medium. Vardy does defend from the front very well, but Nuge is more likely to drop back into the midfield and offer us support there. Not entirely sure on what would be considered a high defensive work rate. Majority seem fair enough though, good work Ashley.

I don't control this sorry. Nugent ball control was in terms with some of the best players in the Premier League hence the drop whilst he does have a decent touch he doesn't warrant a 77.
sdb Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Morgan is the one that bothers me. He can't be far off the top 10 CB's in the Prem. Otherwise it's more the fact that there appears to be no moderation. Other editors seem very generous.

Id also argue about mahrez, he takes all ours and Algerias free kicks and hes got an accuracy of 47, im sure youd agree ash?
Ashley Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Id also argue about mahrez, he takes all ours and Algerias free kicks and hes got an accuracy of 47, im sure youd agree ash? I do. Will have a look at upgrading him in areas suggested. Thanks guys.
dave_the_fox Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 I do. Will have a look at upgrading him in areas suggested. Thanks guys.Cheers Ash, i know we get on at you hahaaI cant help but think matty james should be higher as well, i just cant put my finger on where!! He should be (apart from camby) a starter!
Clarkielcfc Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Just putting this out there, but wondering what skill star rating Sterling is...as like mahrez, he just breezes past players with his dribbling ability, so surely they should be the same? As sterling doesn't really do skill moves IMO?!

Clarkielcfc Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Mahrez is 76 dribbling, do you think he should be higher? Skill star only means what tricks the players can/can't do. Personally think his dribbling should be 80 mind, as with sterling both players don't use major skills, that's why I'm just wondering on what skill star sterling is compared to mahrez seen as they literally go by defenders with there dribbling and agility! Obviously Sterling is a lot quicker than mahrez, so perhaps that's why his dribbling etc stands out more? just trying to have some sensible input in on this all haha!
GLC Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Mahrez is 76 dribbling, do you think he should be higher? Skill star only means what tricks the players can/can't do. I think Nugent should be 80 pace, (80 acceleration and 80 sprint speed) 3/4 clips of him running at pace, the clip at 35 secs is the best. Maybe show them this vid of Vardy as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeM12TVwk2k
ScouseFox Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Quite a lot of people based on this thread...
Maybes Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Mahrez is 76 dribbling, do you think he should be higher? Skill star only means what tricks the players can/can't do. I think that's fair.
Mark_w Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Paul Gallagher's penalties need a boost as well if you have any influence on that Ashley. I think Nugent deserves 76 penalties, but not if Gallagher is 75 rated at taking penalties.
lgfualol Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 WHO ****ING CARES? Might want to read the title of the thread
HowardsBulletHeader Posted 17 September 2014 Posted 17 September 2014 Ashley, Some of these ratings are criminally low in my opinion (especially when compared to those of teams such as QPR, West Brom, Cardiff, Fulham etc) Our ratings still look like those of a Championship team. Why has Nugent had his pace and dribbling downgraded and only got 58 passing? Nugent has to have higher passing than this surely, didn't he get 12/13 assists last season? Joint or 2nd highest in the league? 58 seems a bit shy.
One Legged Beaver Posted 17 September 2014 Posted 17 September 2014 I can imagine that Ashley firmly regrets mentioning that he works for EA on this forum nowadays
MozeyCo Posted 17 September 2014 Posted 17 September 2014 Everyone should stop directing hate towards Ashley. Its not all his fault. Besides, like he said, overall means nothing. Schlupp was a beast on CM and he never grew one overall rating for me.(hope that's fixed btw). One suggestion though, drinkwater's passing up to at least 72. Oh, and also Nugent high/high work rates, vardy high/medium, and ulloa high/low.
MC Prussian Posted 17 September 2014 Author Posted 17 September 2014 What I have noticed with this year's FIFA and because I didn't really play FIFA 14 at all, is that the Ultimate Team cards in particular come with a much lower Defense rating than ever before - most apparent now that the 31 5-star skillers have been presented: http://www.easports.com/fifa/news/2014/fifa-15-player-ratings-five-star-skillers?utm_campaign=fifa15-social-global-ic-tw-fifa-ratings-skillers-091614-tw-text-site-lnch&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&sourceid=fifa15-social-global-ic-tw-fifa-ratings-skillers-091614-tw-text-site-lnch&cid=26357&ts=1410892698560&sf31156200=1 Seems like most players have lost about 15 points alone in that department. I don't see why Mahrez has a lowly 27 or Ronaldinho a 28 (coming down from a 44 in '13). Why is that?
MC Prussian Posted 17 September 2014 Author Posted 17 September 2014 Full Leicester squad now on Futhead: http://www.futhead.com/15/clubs/leicester-city/
Finnegan Posted 17 September 2014 Posted 17 September 2014 I appreciate this won't be Ashley but Tom Lawrence at 64 pace is just wrong.
Ashley Posted 17 September 2014 Posted 17 September 2014 I can imagine that Ashley firmly regrets mentioning that he works for EA on this forum nowadays Believe me I do especially the ones who can't put together a constructive arguments to improvements.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 17 September 2014 Posted 17 September 2014 Music for this years game: http://www.easports.com/fifa/news/2014/fifa-15-soundtrack-details If anybody has bothered with the early access, it'd be good to know whether we have 3 kits and whether we have actual Leicester chants (not ones that always sound like they're for Leeds United).

I'll probably hate most of the songs but listen to them anyway. Happens every year. Which Leicester chant would you want?
