He wasn't that great at Spurs, and regularly got shalackings at the big clubs. I mean for Spurs its ok losing to the top four, but to be trounced 5 or 6 nil everytime isn't on. At Villa all he's done is played a bit more positive football, and utilised the fact he's got a top class striker in the team, and if they supply him they'll get goals. He's not a terrible manager, but he's certainly not that special either, not to the extent some of the media build him up to be. Much like his old mate Kane at Spurs really. A fantastic performance from Villa a team full of youngsters, against a really poor experienced Liverpool team. At least we won't hear anymore about that gerrard getting to the final crap
