ramboacdc Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Some great news... BBC bringing back all day coverage for this years FA Cup final! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32801726 a late cup final again?!
Leicesterpool Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Still can't believe that Michael Oliver got snubbed to ref this final.
Kitchandro Posted 27 May 2015 Posted 27 May 2015 Apparently the FA have launched the last two cup finals in the air with an air balloon from Wembley and they've landed somewhere in Kent. Considering each side is only given 25,000 tickets I can't believe they've actually done this.

Wembley can hold 90,000 right? so 50,000 go to the fans of Arsenal and Villa, so what do they do with the other 40,000?

Apparently 20,000 are distributed to volunteers throughout non-league clubs, charities etc. 17,000 go to Club Wembley members, the remaining ones must be reserved for celebrities/press/players families etc

Leicesterpool Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 It could have been worse, it could have had bad language on it.
Kitchandro Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 FFS Great article, and good comment below about banning half and half scarves!
Voll Blau Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 I'm almost desensitised to this kind of nanny state wank from the football authorities now, Wembley's lot have to be the worst for it though. Love it when England play Eastern European mobs who don't take that kind of rubbish. Wish we had the same mentality...
davieG Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 FFS Great article, and good comment below about banning half and half scarves! Well considering this:- Apparently, the rules state that one set of fans is not allowed to include within their flags or banners the name of their opposition regardless of the context. They're not allowed anyway.
smudger63 Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 For the younger generation of fans, who tend to see the FA Cup as a bit of an inconvenient sideshow to the league programme, this is how it used to be, and what it use to mean. It`s why the older generation of us fans still love the FA Cup, and hope to one day see our beloved Leicester City win it before we peg it!
Corky Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 How is that any different to the AXA FA Cup, The Littlewoods FA Cup and so on?
