ScouseFox Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 what would be sad about a liverpool/arsenal final? would be a great game with great players, great fans and also be gerrard's last game. would be a great final. think it says a lot that the only game worth watching this weekend was united/arsenal. honestly once we're out i'd rather have to watch that one united/arsenal game on repeat for the rest of the season than even a 30 second highlights package of that bradford game. turgid football.

So you wouldn't want an unfancied team win the fa cup?
Unabomber Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 So you wouldn't want an unfancied team win the fa cup? Anyone but villa
ScouseFox Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 So you wouldn't want an unfancied team win the fa cup? wouldn't really care unless it was us. i'd rather the fa cup was abolished than villa win it. reading winning it would just upset me cos they're a pointless team and it'd be sad that they'd then be more successful than us. bradford are harmless. blackburn the same. i'd just rather watch liverpool vs arsenal than bradford vs aston villa or reading vs blackburn. because it'd be more fun to watch.
SystonFox Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 You're right Scouse. I get all the fa cup romance and all that but please keep it in the early rounds Yeovil would ya? Save the finals for good teams like Leicester City. Or if not us, as this year, then Liverpool v Arsenal is fine.
GingerrrFox Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 What do you think would happen if someone punched a ref? Like full on twat to the face? There's never been any previous for it in English football (except for Di Canio's 11 game ban for that push). I reckon it could be a permanent ban in English football?

There's never been any previous for it in English football (except for Di Canio's 11 game ban for that push). I reckon it could be a permanent ban in English football? Jail maybe? and a total ban from football. And hopefully some of the players on the pitch might smash the offending player up too.

Yeah defo a perma ban If it was jon moss though the player should receive a knighthood.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Not sure a life time ban would be legal. But definitely have the book thrown in their direction.
One Legged Beaver Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/footballer-who-punched-referee-says-7010950 I know it's only Sunday League football so I don't know how much you can take from it, but the FA did dish out a life time ban.
Guest ttfn Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 as per To be fair you have been right about almost everything this season.
Stadt Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 To be fair you have been right about almost everything this season.Oh god you're going to make him ScouseCol
filbertway Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 I only want Bradford to make the final as I made a killing off the League Cup final when Swansea battered them.
kingcarr21 Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 So frustrating watching the game last night. Im not a massive fan of Man Utd but seriously there were some arseholes playing last night. Di Maria such a quality player but why go to ground like a sack of shit from the most pathetic of touches. So glad the ref had the bottle to send him off after he grabbed his back. Not much contact on the ref but its about time refs started sending players off for disrespecting them. They are the officials and should be respected. You cant put your hand on them ffs. Rugby refs are the way forward. I dont have a passion for rugby but you cant fault the way the players listen and respect the ref. Its clear for all to see that the ref is in a position of authority, its about time football refs were treated the same. Some of the language you can see being spoken from the players to the ref is just out of order. Januzaj aswel is just an embarrassment. Hardly touched, runs another 3 yards before going to ground to try and win a penalty, pathetic. I laughed at my Man U supporting mate raving about Januzaj. I said he will go off the boil. Loads of players do it. Show some promise for a couple of games, get hyped up to be the next big thing and then get brought back down to earth. So glad the ref had the bottle to make the right call rather than bow to peer pressure from the crowd. Michael Oliver can be proud of his performance. Got everything pretty much spot on.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Jail maybe? and a total ban from football. And hopefully some of the players on the pitch might smash the offending player up too. I can imagine cause at the end of the day it is assault, plus there's a lot of witnesses.
Dan Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Think only us, Villa and Blackburn have beaten two prem sides this season. Arsenal? Bradford?
Guest ttfn Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 Arsenal? Bradford? Yeah but they don't count for some reason I haven't made up yet.

Surprised no talk of police being brought in.
ScouseFox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 could there possibly be a more unenjoyable way to end a great cup run than the round before wembley, being battered at reading on a monday night.
Jimothy Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Couldn't decide whether to watch this or Swansea Liverpool. As soon as the second goal went in my mind was made up.
The Doctor Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 never a red that - yet another shit display from Mike "the face is a hand" Jones
