StanSP Posted 11 October 2014 Posted 11 October 2014 Yes. Why would you drop Moore ? He's been better than Morgan this year in my opinion.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 11 October 2014 Posted 11 October 2014 I hope I'm wrong but I think it'll be a home win. Stupid penalty or a screamer will win it for them 2-1.
Brown Fox Posted 11 October 2014 Posted 11 October 2014 Would take a draw. I have no doubt in my mind that Cisse will score and as much stick as they're all getting they've showed spirit at both Hull and Swansea which is extremely tough. However, defensively they really are a mess and I think we can exploit that. Either 2-2 or 3-1 Newcastle I reckon but would love a Stoke-esque result
J.Lisemore Posted 11 October 2014 Posted 11 October 2014 Never get a better chance to beat Newcastle at their place. I love that ground....AMAZING atmosphere. That said, Pardew is on borrowed time and he'll have his team ready for this. It's going to be tougher than many think..I think. Can't say I do tbh. Shoved up into the corner of the stand where literally nobody can hear you. I always notice on the Tele, yes Newcastle can make abit of noise but you hardly ever hear the away fans because they're in the heavens! .
Dan Posted 11 October 2014 Posted 11 October 2014 I think we ought to go playing our normal game. They try and play defensively yet can't actually defend. We can beat these if we turn up. Problem is they have the capability of producing a bit of magic. Seriously hard game to predict. Can't wait. Really looking forward to going to SJP.
benpicko Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Hamer Simpson Wasilewski Morgan Konchesky Drinkwater Cambiasso Mahrez Powell Albrighton Ulloa Subs; Moore, Vardy, Wood, King, James, Schlupp, Schmeichel Another example of American comedy being about as subtle as throwing a brick with 'LAUGH AT THIS YOU CVNT' scrawled across it at somebody's face. ... Oh wait this wasn't a joke was it

sylofox Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Speaking to some geordies yesterday. They hope we give them a real fvcking spanking and get to take the cvnts head home on our team coach. When I asked which cvnt they ment one caught on and said both and he would be happy if we stuffed them in both games this season. Anyone going if we can get a few may find we have a lot of extra fans for the afternoon. They really do hate Pardew and want him out ASAP followed by the tw4t Ashley
Rob1742 Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 A very difficult game again. I always thought Palace away was a harder fixture than Man U at home and I think Newcastle away will fit in somewhere between the two. The bottom line is that we are not as good as we all think we are. We got battered second half v Chelsea, got the runaround by Stoke and have had much less possession in most of the games we have so far played. The danger is that we have done well results wise and we then believe we have a divine right to beat Newcastle. I think we were a much better team last season, we were convincing, yet this season it has been concentration levels and grit that have paid dividends so far. I really can't call this one. I certainly can't see us playing them off the park like we did many teams last season, as we haven't seen that sort of rythmn from our team this season. If we go a goal down I think we will struggle, and we really should not underestimate the challenge of a new Premiership team that has so far grinded out results, playing a team that has been in the Premiership for years.

Are you for real? FFS when did we play the likes of Everton Chelsea Arsenal and Man U last season. Have you missed the fact we won promotion last season and we now play in a better league.

Have you missed the fact we won promotion last season and we now play in a better league. Yes I am for real. "FFS when did we play......" What's that got to do with it. I have also not missed the fact we play in a better league. I am pointing out that we have grinded out results and are probably not as good as we think we are. I remember after Man U most on here thought Palace and Burnley would be a stroll. Well we got easily beaten at Palace and we did not play anywhere as near as well versus Burnley as we did when we played them at Turf Moor last season. You carry on thinking we are great because we beat Man U, I will look at the facts. Newcastle will be a hard game I am telling you. We certainly have not got the rythmn and possession that we had last season and as we are playing better teams, it becomes much harder. Then after that we have Swansea away, that isn't going to be a stroll either.

Yes we was better last year in a weaker league with a better squad than most. This season we are in a stronger league with a weaker squad than most. My point being no fvcking wonder we looked better last season. Now you point out what is obvious to most on here. Newcastle won't be a stroll and Swansea either just like the rest of the games this season. I doubt very much that we will play a game this season where we will look as good as we did last season.
Dickov22 Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Yeah at Stoke he wasn't in the game, subbed at HT. Understandable though having played for Algeria on the Thursday. The whole team were dreadful first half at Stoke.
johnny the fox Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/krul-blow-for-newcastle-ahead-of-leicester-clash-1-6891456 Looks like Krul is crocked..
ousefox Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Cisse is actually such a shit footballer. I've seen him play quite a bit and since that season where he did very well, he's been terrible. No doubt he'll go score a hat trick now I've said that
Dickov22 Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Liking the look of Una's team as well - wouldn't mind if King was involved as well but think his part in Internationals may mean he'll be on the bench. I really don't know what to think about what might happen in this game. Yes the pressure is on Pardew but it's not like the players have given up all hope. Salvaged draws against Hull and Swansea which aren't bad results at all, especially in Swansea where everyone expected a home win. I haven't watched many Newcastle games so I don't even know how they play any more these days! I'd say their weak points are in defence from comments I've seen from their fans. I think if Drinkwater & James are on form and on their game we will win this. Gotta keep Cisse quiet. They have dangerous players if they want to perform - Cabella especially who was tipped to be one of the better players but hasn't lived up to expectations yet. Fancy Ulloa to get back on form after a poor show vs Burnley. Anyone think Hamer might play? I personally don't but just wondering if many others think Pearson will have the guts to drop Kasper. Kasper is clearly an all-round better keeper than Hamer but I do wonder if Pearson sees the free-kick incident in the same way as some fans on here did... How do you know Kasper is an all round better keeper?
ealingfox Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Hamer kept just as many clean sheets as Schmeichel last season in the Championship, 'keeping for the team that finished 18th, and he actually managed to keep one for us in the PL. You would hope Hamer gets another chance sooner rather than later if things carry on as they are.
Buzzell Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 I'd go with: Kasper Simpson Moore Morgan Konchesky James Cambiasso Drinkwater Mahrez Ulloa Vardy
ADK Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Hamer De Laet Morgan Moore Konch Mahrez King Cambiasso Drinkwater Schluup Ulloa
Leicesterpool Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Kasper Wasileswki Moore Morgan De Laet Schlupp Drinkwater Cambiasso James Vardy Ulloa Bench: Hamer, Konchesky, Simpson, King, Mahrez, Albrighton & Wood.
