Unabomber Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Con lads we don't need no in fighting before a big game like this.
Rob1742 Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Well if you do not like me block me dick head. Your quite an angry sort aren't you. Normally this sort of behaviour is due to inadequacies. Good luck with your issues.
Silverdaz Posted 13 October 2014 Posted 13 October 2014 Schmichael De Laet Konchesky Wasyl Morgan Mahrez Drinkwater Hammond Schlupp Nugent Ulloa
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 13 October 2014 Posted 13 October 2014 Think I'll not come anywhere near this place if we lose.
Burbo17J2 Posted 14 October 2014 Posted 14 October 2014 Can't say I do tbh. Shoved up into the corner of the stand where literally nobody can hear you. I always notice on the Tele, yes Newcastle can make abit of noise but you hardly ever hear the away fans because they're in the heavens! . I heard St James' Park has the highest roof in European football
Carlos88LCFC Posted 14 October 2014 Posted 14 October 2014 Kasper De Laet Moore Morgan Konch Cambiasso Drinkwater James Mahrez Vardy Ulloa Subs : Hamer, Simpson, Was, Hammond, Albrighton, Nugent, Powell Play at the same tempo as we did vs United with the belief that we are the weaker team on the field ability wise and we should win. May I ask why people are dropping Moore?

Captain... Posted 14 October 2014 Posted 14 October 2014 He's not been great in the last couple of games, not shit but not great. But he's been up against big target men, Newcastle don't have that sort of a player, their strikers are quite quick and high energy, I would rather have Moore than Was. I'm hoping we go for the diamond as mentioned above, Cambiasso, James and Drinkwater, with Nugent, Vardy and Ulloa up front, Mahrez was great against Burnley, but struggled after his last international jaunt, unless he is 100% I wouldn't start him, him and Schlupp on the bench ready to make a difference should we need a goal.

Good point about Mahrez... But I would prefer to see Powell start at the top of the diamond instead of Nugent. Give him a shot! He has a point to prove and I don't think Nugent is good enough. Newcastle have decent wide players so playing a diamond might be risky though. I think their first choice RB & LB maybe out as well? So wouldn't it make sense to attack down the wings?
Ric Flair Posted 14 October 2014 Posted 14 October 2014 I've a horrible feeling we'll lose this one, I hope we don't as this is a great chance to pinch a win off a team whose fans detest their current set up and an early goal could really destroy them. I'm not sure what our best team is at the minute, I do know that if fit Cambiasso simply has to start. Especially in away games like this where a bit of intelligence could be the difference. Schmeichel Simpson Moore Morgan Konchesky Mahrez Cambiasso Drinkwater James Schlupp Ulloa Subs: Vardy, Nugent, Hamer, De Laet, King, Wasilweski, Powell

So wouldn't it make sense to attack down the wings? They have been playing 4231 and the width was mainly from their full backs, good news if Janmaat is out, he's a decent player, only in the last match they switched to 442, but that was away and they were hardly convincing. Powell could get the nod over Nugent, wouldn't be upset to see that as Nigel would only make that change if Powell has proved his worth, the problem with going with a 442 is that Schlupp and Mahrez have both been away all week and looked rubbish against Stoke after a similar week away, with Vardy and Nugent/Powell/Mahrez playing more central we can still exploit any weaknesses at full back, with Ulloa tying up the centre halves Vardy can exploit the gaps between the full backs and centre backs. I hope Newcastle go for it, they are at home and will want to get their fans on side, if they are pushing on and leaving gaps then Vardy will be able to get in behind like he did against United.
yorkie1999 Posted 14 October 2014 Posted 14 October 2014 Need to win this or that will be 3 shit results!
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 14 October 2014 Posted 14 October 2014 Won't be coming near the Leicester City section of the forum if we lose this game, the shit that will likely be spouted will be unbearable.
filbertway Posted 14 October 2014 Posted 14 October 2014 Will be a tough game this, they did well to come back from behind twice against Swansea and look to have a bit of spirit about them. Not forgetting the fact they do have some serious class in their ranks. Reckon this will be a high scoring game, 2 good attacks and 2 pretty average defences should mean a bit of a goal fest. 3-2 either way!

Yeah I'd play him but he's not played as well as he can recently and I was just pointing that out rather than suggesting that he should be dropped.

Hopefully Ulloa will be back to scoring ways and Vardy will be fired up, with a bit of skill from Marhez we should get all 3 points.

fuchsntf Posted 14 October 2014 Posted 14 October 2014 Forget the Pardew saga, Newcastle, are better than their position shows. Stoke, Palace, Burnley, now Newcastle, this is the nitty gritty of the PL . Rob, steal, nick, fluke, or a super performance, no automatic 3 points, here. Whatever these next 2 Away games, will give us another look at our sych, and players true capabilities.
foxfanazer Posted 14 October 2014 Posted 14 October 2014 Remember the last time we played these and it was televised. Nile Ranger was being touted as the next big thing by the commentators. They wouldn't stop banging on about him all game
