Newcastle pre match thread

With Krul out and their moral at an all time low, I fancy us nicking something here if we turn up and play like we can.

I know our last 2 results were poor, but we shouldn't be looking to "nick something" against a team that hasn't won all season.

Thats true, but at the same time we are away from home against some good players with alot to prove. It won't be a walk in the park

Uuurgh. I've seen this situation before. Struggling team, key player missing. It so rarely ends well :(

Hope I'm wrong. These are shit really.

From last nights dream:

0-0 until 70mins when Newcastle made it 1-0 (don't know who scored, wasn't that accurate with their team)

Then 3 goals from Mahrez, Knocky and Vardy in the last 20 minutes of the game. Although in the dream it happened in the space of like 5 minutes...

Knocky had a blinder if I recall.

Leicester City win 1-3.

Yeah Albrighton, Powell and Was have all really impressed me too.

No, they can't have, at least not in the league because in the case of Powell and Wasilewski they haven't played for us and in Albrighton's case he's barely played.  But in the last two games the majority (if not all ) of the starting 11 cannot have impressed many, if any, so why not give those who have had no/not much of a chance an opportunity.

I play 5 a side with them down goals mate trust they have impressed and I know a thing or two about football and all that.

I was merely highlighting the ignorance of the original statement but I guess that went over some peoples head.  a "woosh" moment if you will.

unabombers post was a joke in the first place...

I think Powell will play some part, seeing how we have decided to go public with the praise of him. Hope Simpson starts, and Albrighton is in the squad over Knocky.

This game is going to be first on match of the day, all the goals. Vardy should have Williamson's pants down. Cabella, Sissoko and Cisse are extremely capable of smashing us to pieces as well. There's some ridiculous pace in these teams.

"Their pace will cause Pardew's side problems, but I think he will get that elusive first win this weekend, and it might be another manager's turn to be under pressure."

Does he mean Pearson there?

The persecution complex on here is getting stronger, he means another manager, a different one to Pardew, it could be any of 19, but it is most likely to be Redknapp, Martinez, Irvine, Hughes, even Dyche or Poyet. Why would he mean Pearson, when he we have made an excellent start to the season.

All he is saying is that he thinks Newcastle will win, and if they do the focus will be on another manager.

Away from the paranoia it looks like Krul, Janmaat and Dummett will all be fit enough to make the squad tomorrow and possibly play, no news on Tiote or Cisse, but I assume they will be in the squad, like Schlupp and Mahrez for us.

Newcastle have conceded at least two goals in 9 of their last 12 home league games. Those sides include Palace, Hull, Swansea and Sunderland, all bottom half teams last season.

I hope the last time was before the Man Utd game.

If ever there was a game we could win but will lose this is it. We're conceding too any goals all round. Newcastle no wins. Our form has dipped. 2-1 toon.
