Dr The Singh Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Still no idea who to vote for... someone convince me.Vote BNP, or my mated will beat you up
Buce Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Still no idea who to vote for... someone convince me. The Tories are the Nasty Party. The Liberals sold their soul to the Nasty Party. UKIP think every problem can be solved by ending immigration, and are an irrelevance. Take your choice from the rest.
Babylon Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Go and read some of the party policies and form your own opinion rather than ask others to make a decision for you. I already have and don't they all sound wonderful... it's a shame nobody ever actually produces most of what they promise. Some of the conservative stuff I agree with, some of the labour stuff I agree with. Oh and I didn't ask for anyone to make the decision for me, I asked someone to convince me ie. some convincing arguments.

You need to ask the politicians rather than the posters on a forum, if you haven't a clue now it's probably too late
Babylon Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 You need to ask the politicians rather than the posters on a forum, if you haven't a clue now it's probably too late I'm going to vote conservative just because you're annoying me. Well that was easy, wish I'd asked earlier.
Sir Fynwy Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 I'm going to vote conservative just because you're annoying me. Well that was easy, wish I'd asked earlier. Good, I'm not pushing an agenda and I'm glad you've come to a reasoned decision.

MooseBreath Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Still no idea who to vote for... someone convince me. The Tories are the "nasty party" who have overseen the creation of an unprecedented number of jobs, helping people out of labour's evil self-serving welfare dependency model. Wages are growing, which is obviously superb news for everyone who works for a living, and tax has been reduced in the form of increases to the tax free allowance for everyone on less than about £40k. People on minimum wage have also benefitted from well above inflation pay increases. They've also cut public costs, while achieving economic growth. Labour said that this was impossible. They've been proven wrong. They said we would see a double dip recession and were likely to see a full on depression. They were wrong. They said unemployment would increase. They were wrong. Five years later, labour's election campaign is again based on that same idea that Tory spending cuts will result in all kinds of horrors. They got it embarrassingly wrong last time, embarrassingly wrong when they were last in power, and they're getting it embarrassingly wrong now. You'd have to be either unbelievably thick or greedy for hand outs in some form to vote for Labour.

sphericalfox Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 What's with Channel 4 and the subliminal 'go vote' ads in between things for half a second?
Strokes Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 What's with Channel 4 and the subliminal 'go vote' ads in between things for half a second? I'm not sure but if there was a channel 4 party I would vote for it.

Rincewind Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Genital mutilation is part of North-Eastern African culture, not mainstream muslim culture at all. Holocaust denial tends to come from a section of muslims in the Middle-East (and certain sections of Western right-wingers anf neo-nazis) not mainstream muslim culture. 'Forced' marriages are no more common in muslim culture than any other culture where arranged marriages are the norm. Do you actually know any muslims? True. There are a lot of cultures where marriages are based on communities or their own particular faith/religion. A lot of Catholics and Jews frown upon their childrem if they marry outside their cultual circle. It has changed in the Western world mainly because people move further from thier families and communities thus meeting people of varied races and cultures. Some cultures still have strong family ties In America there are Christian that will only marry within their community or family. At one point there were only men clubs. There were compartmentson trains 'women only' Because of the closeness of families maybe some Muslims have not 'progressed' as fast Is that a bad thing?

MiniFox Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 The Tories are the "nasty party" who have overseen the creation of an unprecedented 1. number of jobs, helping people out of labour's evil self-serving welfare dependency model. 2. You'd have to be either unbelievably thick or greedy for hand outs in some form to vote for Labour. 1. Many of which are zero hour contracts. Unfair on the employee. 2. With inflation wages have decreased by £1,600 since 2010. Not exactly good for the working people. 3. I suppose you're just going to ignore deaths by unfair benefit sanctions? (But of course that's entirely their fault) http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/aug/03/victims-britains-harsh-welfare-sanctions 4. I'm not even sure what to say on that one.

Just to add to number 1 - there are now about a million people in work and still having to claim housing benefit, doubling since 2010.
Webbo Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Just to add to number 1 - there are now about a million people in work and still having to claim housing benefit, doubling since 2010. There are 2 million more people working surely that would explain that?
MiniFox Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Just to add to number 1 - there are now about a million people in work and still having to claim housing benefit, doubling since 2010. Thanks, didn't know this. But further showing, the figures aren't all so great are they.
Webbo Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Thanks, didn't know this. But further showing, the figures aren't all so great are they. Would the figures be better if they were out of work and claiming housing benefit? Only 96% Webbo? And you call yourself a Tory. I'm slightly worried that I'm 9% Green. I feel dirty.
