Grewks Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 With regards to the general quality of their club, staff, players etc... But continue to use a strike force of vardy and nugent which is no stronger than Vokes and Ings yet we expect to stay up. How?
StanSP Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 When you say 'continue to use' do you mean play Nugent not as a striker and start Ulloa for the majority of games this season?
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 You've answered your own question. Staff, players etc, not just the 2 strikers we've played (between them only 1 has played 1 game as an out and out striker...), so yeah, great points. We only mock their fans who come on here being oh so reasonable and nice, and only mock their manager because he is such an insufferable ****, market this, market that, don't think anyone thinks he is a bad manager, just a ****. We are better than them, that's not mocking. This is the same Jamie Vardy a lot of us were talking about getting an England cap after he destroyed United and has mainly been played on the pissing wing this season, or am I thinking of someone else? How do we expect to stay up? By getting 40 points. Don't think many fans 'expect' anything, other than full commitment from everyone involved with the club and hopefully that will get us to 40 points.
ScouseFox Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 at least now you've started a new thread we can mock this instead of burnley for a bit
Grewks Posted 6 November 2014 Author Posted 6 November 2014 When you say 'continue to use' do you mean play Nugent not as a striker and start Ulloa for the majority of games this season? Nuge is playing in the same position as he was last season, and his goalscoring record is still terrible. at least now you've started a new thread we can mock this instead of burnley for a bit Well.... the mocking of my nugent thread looks foolish now doesn't it?
StanSP Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Is this just another thread for you to slate Nugent? Getting boring. Do you really think he's the sole reason for us being in our position at the moment?
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 People weren't mocking your thread, they were insulting you.
Corky Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Basically, this is another Bash Nugent thread under a different title altogether.
lgfualol Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 We mocked a lot of teams after our first five games. I think most people are concentrating on just us now.
StanSP Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Basically, this is another Bash Nugent thread under a different title altogether. 'Strikeforce of Vardy...' was a decent smoke-screen to be fair.
foxfanazer Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 People weren't mocking your thread, they were insulting you. With good reason
AKCJ Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Nuge is playing in the same position as he was last season, and his goalscoring record is still terrible. Well.... the mocking of my nugent thread looks foolish now doesn't it? What do you mean 'his goalscoring is STILL' terrible? Last season he scored 20 goals you moron.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Yeh but pelanties and asists dunt count bruv.
johnny the fox Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Dyche tried to suck my knob and bungled it.. ginger cant.. Im still frustrated.. Burnley couldn't find the premiership with a map.
AKCJ Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Yeh but pelanties and asists dunt count bruv. How silly of me to assume so According to him goals don't count if you're called David.
Captain... Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Do we have to start new threads to discuss things that have been discussed to death in other threads. I don't think anyone is mocking Burnley we are all relieved there is at least one team shitter than us this season and we won't finish bottom.
Dan Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Oh god you can tell there's another international break on the way, Burnley are on the agenda
teblin Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 With regards to the general quality of their club, staff, players etc... But continue to use a strike force of vardy and nugent which is no stronger than Vokes and Ings yet we expect to stay up. How? We aren't it will be Ulloa and another. He only didnt start on Saturday because he had a knock.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Not everybody mocked Burnley. I'm sure that there are many other people out there like myself who really do not care about Burnley. Plus I think that may have been the first game in which we've used a strike force of Vardy and Nugent?
Babylon Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 With regards to the general quality of their club, staff, players etc... But continue to use a strike force of vardy and nugent which is no stronger than Vokes and Ings yet we expect to stay up. How? So let me get this right, we finished above them and won the league, we currently are still above them. Those two factors alone show we have better players. Our ground is bigger, our fan base bigger, our training facilities better, we have a cat 1 youth team, they have Lee Hoos. But because in some games this season we have played Nugent and Vardy, it some how means all of the above is null and void. This Burnley stuff has gone on long enough, both managers have been a little bit dickish, so have both sets of fans. Can we just all go back to not really giving a shit about Burnley and Dyche.
The Doctor Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Out of interest Grewks, did Nugent shag your wife? You seem to some sort of crazy vendetta against a player who hasn't really done anything wrong, certainly not more than anyone else - poor in the last 5 games, yes - but who hasn't been? Also, the Nugent-Vardy partnership has had... One match. One game in 10 is not persisting, not by a long shot.
Babylon Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Just done a graph to show the correlation between shit results and shit threads.
fox in the sox Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Who is mocking Burnley? For the size of club they have done very well and it is no surprise that they can't compete at this stage. I think Dyche is more the problem with his corporate speak and continual reference to markets. Oh that reminds me, I could do with some nice juicy oranges...
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Yeh but pelanties and asists dunt count bruv. neither do goals scored in any month that contains the letter R in its name.
