Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 West Brom striker Saido Berahino and Everton midfielder Ross Barkley are in line to start for England. Everton defender Phil Jagielka is expected to travel despite coming off with what appeared to be an injury in the 89th minute against Slovenia. Goalkeeper Joe Hart will not be involved after being allowed to return to Manchester City. Southampton's Fraser Forster looks to set to start in goal on the ground where he played for Celtic for four seasons.
purpleronnie Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 At least the scot's will create a good atmosphere.
kingcarr21 Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Pride of the Midlands where you been? Should be a good game. Think it will end up a draw. 1-1
Stevosevic Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Any particular reason this is at Celtic Park and not Hampden Park or alternatively Ibrox?
Finnegan Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Any particular reason this is at Celtic Park and not Hampden Park or alternatively Ibrox? Er, Celtic Park holds about 10k more than the other two and everyone will want to go?
Rocket-Ron Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Any particular reason this is at Celtic Park and not Hampden Park or alternatively Ibrox? Hampden had the commonwealth games. still removing the running track I think
Jimothy Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Thought PotM was an MKDons fan, what's with the Villa badge?
Basingstoke Fox Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Would've liked to have got a ticket for this but I'm not on away ticket scheme with England yet. I can imagine the atmosphere should be fantastic. Just imagine it if Scotland had voted yes! I've seen England at home once and it bored the life out of me but I can imagine it's much better watching them away from home. Considering doing Ireland and Lithuania away.
Stevosevic Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Er, Celtic Park holds about 10k more than the other two and everyone will want to go? Yes, but Hampden Park is the national stadium Another poster has answered my questions, thanks.
Grandad. Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 On both Sky and ITV, can see a lot tuning into Sky rather than suffer Chiles and Townsend.
AyewJoking Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 think the scots will be more up for this than our lads, a potential banana skin.
Corky Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Thought PotM was an MKDons fan, what's with the Villa badge? That was Part of the Crowd I think. Pride of the Midlands has always been a Villa fan.
Grandad. Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Brilliant how the Scottish police believe there is going to be no trouble makers going to the game..
Finnegan Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Bit lose lose for England. If you win, so what? If you lose, mass hysteria and the Sweaties go on forever.
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Thought PotM was an MKDons fan, what's with the Villa badge? srsly? Potm? Pride of the midlands? Bit lose lose for England. If you win, so what? If you lose, mass hysteria and the Sweaties go on forever. This is about the size of it.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Actually agree with Grandad there, as I for one will definitely watch on Sky not Itv. Coverage is not comparable in quality. Although I'm up for playing a few younger players I just hope it's still a strong team we play or Scots could do us with their atmosphere
Jimothy Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 That was Part of the Crowd I think. Pride of the Midlands has always been a Villa fan. That's the one! Knew it was a stupid user name beginning with P.
Bert Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Bit lose lose for England. If you win, so what? If you lose, mass hysteria and the Sweaties go on forever.I can handle that when we qualify for another major tournament and these fail to do so again
Grandad. Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 So hope we boo the Scottish national anthem, not that we will hear the boos because it will be rocking in Celtic park but I hope they boo.
Finnegan Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 So hope we boo the Scottish national anthem, not that we will hear the boos because it will be rocking in Celtic park but I hope they boo. If the Sweaties boo gstq you probably will but will be drowned out. That's what happened last time in Cardiff.
Grandad. Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 If the Sweaties boo gstq you probably will but will be drowned out. That's what happened last time in Cardiff. Yeah the scum bags did it at Wembley.
Finnegan Posted 17 November 2014 Posted 17 November 2014 Eh, part and parcel. I know we've had the debate before but I personally have no problem with it. Being proud of your anthem and country is fine but it's not sacred or divine.
