filbertway Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Have to be honest I find it hard to get jazzed up for this. Probably because I don't know any Scottish people so don't really feel the rivalry.
kingfox Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 - It may just be a friendly, but the oldest international rivalry in football, taking place north of the border for the first time in 15 years? You're barking if you don't think it will be rocking in both ends. Don't get the hype tbh. If this was a qualifier then yes, England will play a bunch of second team string players, and it will more than likely be incredibly boring. Friendlies should be scrapped.
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 18 November 2014 Author Posted 18 November 2014 Forster Clyne Smalling Cahill Shaw Wilshere Milner Oxlade-Chamberlain Downing Rooney Welbeck
The Doctor Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 who you supporting large al? Scotland. Even if I considered myself English I wouldn't be supporting them (unless Vardy made the squad) - couldn't care less about the shower of arrogant shite that Roy's got. Don't get the hype tbh. If this was a qualifier then yes, England will play a bunch of second team string players, and it will more than likely be incredibly boring. Friendlies should be scrapped. Because that's what happened when they played at Wembley last summer isn't it? Where Hart, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines, Gerrard, Welbeck, Rooney, Wilshere & Walcott all started...
Bert Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 The Jack of all sports master of none is just hoping for a bite.
purpleronnie Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Hoping England win but I really want a good game, so few England games are entertaining, hoping to see some players showing a bit of passion too.
EnderbyFox Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 @henrywinter 4m4 minutes ago Expected #eng: Forster; Clyne, Smalling, Cahill, Shaw; Wilshere; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Milner; Downing; Rooney, Welbeck.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 @henrywinter 4m4 minutes ago Expected #eng: Forster; Clyne, Smalling, Cahill, Shaw; Wilshere; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Milner; Downing; Rooney, Welbeck. Smalling
Samilktray Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Well at least we wont have to put up with 90 minutes of Jordan Henderson.
lestajigs Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Well at least we wont have to put up with 90 minutes of Jordan Henderson. Yea, i don't rate him at at all
kingfox Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 @henrywinter 4m4 minutes ago Expected #eng: Forster; Clyne, Smalling, Cahill, Shaw; Wilshere; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Milner; Downing; Rooney, Welbeck. Smalling. Another reason not to watch.
Fox92 Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 To be fair, Downing has been brilliant this season and deserves a start. Hope he plays behind though and not out wide like for West Ham.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 @henrywinter 4m4 minutes ago Expected #eng: Forster; Clyne, Smalling, Cahill, Shaw; Wilshere; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Milner; Downing; Rooney, Welbeck. for a moment there I thought I'd seen Smalling in the England XI
J.Lisemore Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Such a farce why Smalling gets picked. He is genuinely no better than Liam Moore.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 Couldn't give a flying f**k about this, I'd rather watch Malta v Leeds U18's
purpleronnie Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 I find it odd that people aren't interested in this, it's so much more than just a 'friendly game'.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 What do we win? My Sunday Alliance Div 6 side won more last weekend than England will win tonight, FVCK this off and roll on proper football at the weekend.
Unabomber Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 ****ing Smalling absolute joke, criminal that this pleb gets in.
BlueSi13 Posted 18 November 2014 Posted 18 November 2014 I find it odd that people aren't interested in this, it's so much more than just a 'friendly game'. Because like others have said on here, this match is the definition of a lose-lose for England. Fail to win by four, five or six and it will be just another stick to beat the England national team with.

I don't care about the reaction afterwards, it's the disinterest in the most historic inteenational game in world football that baffles me.
