Webbo Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 I thought Schlupp was causing problems for QPR all match, didn't have a bad match at all.
MC Prussian Posted 29 November 2014 Author Posted 29 November 2014 No, can't say I have..you usually argue with any negativity, at least from what I've read..Pearson out? Nope. I still claim he needs to be given time. His tactics were working out fine - up until that own goal. Then all remaining confidence dropped to a new low. A heavy half-time talk gave them a much-needed lift, but that's about it. Blaming the manager for this mess alone is very simplistic. Most of these players have shown they can do well at this level, but somre are letting everybody else down at the minute and dragging the rest down with their slump.
lgfualol Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Calmed down a bit now. At least we scored, quality goal from Schlupp.
dmayne7 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Mahrez coming off for Albrighton while also bringing Ulloa off and leaving Schlupp on the pitch was unbelievable. Schlupp scored a fluke goal but that wasthe only thing he did all match that wwasn't league two standard. Between him and Konch we're absolutely atrocious on the left and I'm amazed that Pearson doesn't see it. Wasyl needs to go too, Liam Moore is twice the player. Should have won, once again strange decisions from the manager ensure that we didn't. Mahrez was non-existent today. Schlupp played well, scores a cracker and you slag him off. Pathetic.

They are probably giving it their all..but just aren't good enough.
Larry_LCFC Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Going down quicker than the titanic. Fed up with this shit now.
Monsell1976 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Deserved to lose against a bad average side, to go 1 up and then sit back so early, we deserve everything we get. Poor substitutions, nugent no form at all, but gets the nod over Chris wood in the bench, who is crying out for a chance, king did nothing, and albrighton did well. Best of two poor teams won, and just a long coach ride home ahead. To end on a positive, at least we scored, but shame we couldn't defend at the same time

MooseBreath Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 The game sounded completely open..every time either side went forward, they sounded like scoring. There was little control tactically. To be able to get crosses in, the opposition needs to be able to get into positions to do so..etc.. Too open.. Hence 3-2 What would you have preferred? The diamond? a Lee cattermole style tough tackling aggressive violent defensive midfielder to get stuck in and cause some injuries? The formation was fine, we looked dangerous going forward on the right hand side until we took Mahrez off. Defence was a shambles but that's down to poor individual performances not tactics.
MC Prussian Posted 29 November 2014 Author Posted 29 November 2014 I thought Schlupp was causing problems for QPR all match, didn't have a bad match at all. He managed to extend the back four by his runs out wide, but his first touch was really bad. A great goal alone doesn't make up for that. Looking back, Albrighton on the right and Mahrez on the left at the start would've been the better choice.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 So sky have just come out with the fact that the amount of attempts on goal today (51) is a record since they began doing stats across all 4 english leagues. Anyone know how many of them were ours?

No, the formation wasn't 'fine', we conceded three goals. Cattermole is looking more and more like a player the team need. You do realise we are bottom do you? It's hardly time to be giving it the big un is it?
MooseBreath Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Mahrez was non-existent today. Schlupp played well, scores a cracker and you slag him off. Pathetic. Schlupp was absolutely crap. He is an awful footballer at this level. Mahrez looked dangerous every time he got the ball, should have had two assists.
Bettsj2 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 No he doesn't! QPR drew 2-2 to Man City at home and now they've narrowly beaten us...boohoo 11 games in we're in the bottom 3. It's not over till may . Get a fookin grip! The excuses made for Pearson are becoming thinner and thinner with every week that goes by.

Fox Ulike Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 When you look at it, we created far more chances than them and scored with two good strikes. They got 3 goals from goal mouth scrambles. Was there an element of bad fortune? We did invite pressure at times but had more than a few clear cut chances we didn't take. To leave with nothing is demoralising. I don't know about bad fortune - conceding three goals from inside the six yard box needs looking at. Those were playground goals. Was Kasper the issue today?

Mark Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Pearson - "defence was great". It was all mahrezs fault.
ChrisWoodIsClass Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 pearson digging out Mahrez for the first goal on radio Leicester

Looking back, Albrighton on the right and Mahrez on the left at the start would've been the better choice. Albrighton is left footed. You want him to put crosses in, you put him on the left. You want someone in the box to get on the end of the crosses, you play Ulloa. Pearson brings Albrighton onto the right wing and takes off Ulloa. Genius nige. Genius.
peach0000 Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 Schlupp was absolutely crap. He is an awful footballer at this level. Mahrez looked dangerous every time he got the ball, should have had two assists. Schlupp is the only player who bothers to run at defenders
ScouseFox Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 oh man we didn't even play badly enough to be last on motd so can't even pretend it didn't happen like I have been the last 2 months

You do realise we are bottom do you? It's hardly time to be giving it the big un is it? We leak goals from wide areas and you think the solution is to pack the central midfield. Says it all I'm afraid.

One up front. 442 is practically suicidal away from home.
Donut Posted 29 November 2014 Posted 29 November 2014 As fans, and on the pitch, on many, many levels, we are very naive. Very.
