Will1981 Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 why is Moore marking Benteke and Clark two of their biggest players.
ADK Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I thought excessive force in a tackle was a booking regardless if you win the ball. You could tell by the reaction Clark deliberately followed through. Followed by a cynical foul from Agbonlahor that also avoids a booking.
The Doctor Posted 7 December 2014 Author Posted 7 December 2014 Clark won the ball. No foul. Vardy won the ball. Clarks was excessive force - definitely a foul
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Red card? :xmaslaugh: Alan Smith's cracked open the minatures early.
Webbo Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Is that the rule then, you can break people's legs so long as you touch the ball? Has he broke his leg? Football is a contact sport, if Wasyl had done that we'd all be loving it.
lgfualol Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Need 3 in midfield or something. I'm not sure we can win this
theessexfox Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 If Clark's clean ball-winning challenge is a foul then we might as well go and play netball.
ForzaFerrari Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 If Ulloa cannot play the second half, give Wood a chance please... Mahrez will make a difference IMO.That Mahrez will leave for the National Team in January is to my concern.
Babylon Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Vardy went through the back of him. Cynical more than full-blooded. 100% in from the side. Bad challenge but not awful.
1993fox Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Vardy won the ball. Clarks was excessive force - definitely a foul Don't let allegiances blind you. Vardy's tackle wasn't good at all. Clark's was a good tackle but you could tell the malicious intent was there.
Gio Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Am i the only one who thinks Schmeichel could have come out to deal with that free kick? I know he gets a lot of stick for not dealing with crosses normally, commentators said he couldn't come out but it was only about 7/8 yards out and you see keepers coming for them all the time Also, not blaming this soley on schmeichel as i know it was horrible defending by Liam
ScouseFox Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 red card for vardy . yellow was harsh imo, a foul but not that bad a tackle, only even a talking point because the kid is injured.
lgfualol Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 why is Moore marking Benteke and Clark two of their biggest players. Genius zonal marking
Babylon Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Has he broke his leg? Football is a contact sport, if Wasyl had done that we'd all be loving it.No but you said he won the ball like that's all that matters, it's not though.
Spicer Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 If Ulloa comes off I would love to Mahrez is the middle free role.
Guest ttfn Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 If Ulloa has to go off I'd get King on. Basically what Corky says. Have two energetic midfielders with lots of energy doing the running for Cambiasso.
Phube Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I just feel both were good tackles. If not, both were fouls!
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 They are passing us off the park, we are just playing long ball after long ball, we are basically just forgetting about the midfield. Cambiasso has picked out some delightful passes, but he isn't seeing the ball enough. When we get our foot on the ball, Villa are picking up the second ball, simply because James and Cambiasso aren't able to fill those areas. We seem scared to pass the ball properly, lack of ideas again please stop hoofing it. Spot on.... I was thinking exactly the same thing. Cambiasso is the playmaker. Give him the bloody ball more!

Liam's fault for being nowhere near his man.
Webbo Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 If Ulloa comes off I would love to Mahrez is the middle free role. Nugent would be better to stiffen up the midfield.

jmono84 Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Clarke was still pissed about the Vardy challenge, he intended to get the ball and the player and would have been happy to injure Ulloa in my opinion. Vardy's was from the side and he did get his toe to the ball, it was just the scissor action his legs made the challenge slightly reckless. Defo not a red though and no intent from Vardy at all.
