Makes me laugh that Vardy is booked for one tackle yet a very similar tackle isn't even a free kick. Yet these co-commentators that are always talking about consistency don't bat an eyelid.

 

Anyway, not an encouraging performance so far but we're still in the game. Cambiasso has been top class but James has looked poor. Our defence has gone to pieces, Moore at fault for the latest fiasco. The wingers are passengers defensively again.

 

We need Drinkwater on so we can get hold of the ball and start passing it.

What can you do when a runner goes early and the ball is perfect? Goals aren't always someone's fault.

We need Cambiasso further forward, put two midfielders deeper so Cambiasso can ping the ball around and allow others to defend.

 

Mixed performance as usual, not defending very well but going forward we look a threat.

Was a good tackle by clark, he got a lot of the ball BUT far too much intent in it as well, was never any need to go in with so much force in that situation.

Their goal was typical of this season. Needless freekick, free header and immediately after we scored. Such a disappointing goal to concede. We must do better!!

They are passing us off the park, we are just playing long ball after long ball, we are basically just forgetting about the midfield. Cambiasso has picked out some delightful passes, but he isn't seeing the ball enough. When we get our foot on the ball, Villa are picking up the second ball, simply because James and Cambiasso aren't able to fill those areas.

We seem scared to pass the ball properly, lack of ideas again please stop hoofing it.
