foxfanazer Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 I don't think that is what he meant but I like your answer! He asked where would we be?
bovril Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 The one win against Cardiff still remains one of the best performances from a Leicester side I can remember. Agreed. There was some wonderful football played that season.
Bert Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 We just didn't have the right players for the way he wanted to play and it didn't work at this level. He'd be better in the prem. he may have signed vitor but let's not forget Lamey, Moreno, Crncic? And 3 million panic buy waghorn None of which were his signings.
LCFC FOX Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 None of which were his signings. he was in charge wasn't he? I'm pretty sure
cityfanlee23 Posted 10 December 2014 Author Posted 10 December 2014 None of which were his signings. Trying to find exactly who he did sign and when in his short time bert, any light to shed on this?? He seemed to have signed quite a few youth signings according to a few rubbish sources online, but they don't have the dates so it's difficult to see WHO actually signed them....
ScouseFox Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Agreed. There was some wonderful football played that season. most of it after sousa left though
Bert Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 he was in charge wasn't he? I'm pretty sureDidn't say he wasn't in charge! But they weren't his signings. Think about it.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 If he stuck around with us then probably we'd be sitting in league two now, dear we were certainly crap under him. 1-6 defeat to Portsmouth was probably the worst performance in the decade.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 :xmaslaugh: :xmaslaugh: YUKI ABE THOUGH It wasn't Sousa who brought him in it was the owners, Sousa really didn't get a say in that signing. Also Sousa brought in Miguel Vitor which appeared to have been successful but only after Sousa had gone, I don't think he played a league game under him. I think Sven was the guy that introduced to the side more.
kingfox Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Seeing Miguel Vitor's name, makes me go all warm and fuzzy inside.
cityfanlee23 Posted 10 December 2014 Author Posted 10 December 2014 Seeing Miguel Vitor's name, makes me go all warm and fuzzy inside. Would take him back tomorrow
Soar Fox Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 I'd love us to re-sign Vitor. Them 2 goals he scored at Scunthorpe ❤️
foxfanazer Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Would take him back tomorrowIs he still at Benfica?
cityfanlee23 Posted 10 December 2014 Author Posted 10 December 2014 Is he still at Benfica? Leicesterpool Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Is he still at Benfica? I think he's at PAOK at the moment. It was said Sven tried to sign him in the summer of 2011 but Benfica wanted him back.
cityfanlee23 Posted 10 December 2014 Author Posted 10 December 2014 I think he's at PAOK at the moment. It was said Sven tried to sign him in the summer of 2011 but Benfica wanted him back. Bring back sven and vitor?? Think Svennis could do a job at this level
Fox92 Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Wrong time for him I think. He joined on the back of us finishing 5th the previous season, it was always going to be difficult given expectations. Plays great football though, Basel looked very composed on the ball last night.
cityfanlee23 Posted 10 December 2014 Author Posted 10 December 2014 I think he's at PAOK at the moment. It was said Sven tried to sign him in the summer of 2011 but Benfica wanted him back. NP OUT Vítor subsequently returned to Benfica, being completely ostracized by manager Jorge Jesus – as practically all Portuguese players – and even being demoted to the B-team.[6] After he refused to renew his contract, >>>>>>>>>>> he left as a free agent in late May 2013.[7]

Sir Fynwy Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 What sort of lap dancing club opens at 11am? (outside of Blackpool) Studio 95 in Swansea opens at 10:30am
Guest MattP Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Studio 95 in Swansea opens at 10:30am That's a brothel mate.
Babylon Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 I did not claim it was not. I claimed the championship was by FAR the biggest step up. He took an average team and improved them. He took over a team that finished 8th and got them to finish 7th... forgive me for not celebrating that. He was only there for one year, was hated by Swansea fans and is now hated by Leicester fans.
EnglishOxide Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 The man's bossing it in the Champions League but hey, he's not good enough for Leicester! Some of our fans, honestly! He wasn't even given a chance to do anything with us.
