Merging Cultures Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I enjoyed watching the match. I thought we'd get something out of it, but not too disappointed as we didn't get ripped apart. I liked the way we played, I hope we can play like that each week.
iamafox Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Is it me or did it look like Lampard put on some weight?
Raj Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Is it me or did it look like Lampard put on some weight?he's always been a big boy.Great pro though. Kids should look Upto him.
Unabomber Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Lampard is not a big boy and he is not fat, ****inghell why do people think this?
Dynamogoon Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I think Raj might be an imposter. You a Man City fan dude? Or just another moronic Premier League attendee? Bore off mate

orangecity23 Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 If Raj is an imposter, he's definitely being playing the long game. Several years of undercover work on the off chance we get promoted and play Man City, impressive commitment to his disguise.
sdb Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 We seemed scared to have a pop at goal today, that was the only real disappointment. Played well otherwise but lack that killer instinct in the final third.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 We seemed scared to have a pop at goal today, that was the only real disappointment. Played well otherwise but lack that killer instinct in the final third. Yeah I saw that too. On numerous occasions we could have had a shot, then didn't..and lost the chance. We have so few players though that look like they can score from distance.

cjslcfc Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I hate all this "Man City didn't have to get out of 2nd gear today" business. I think people only think a team is trying if they are running around like headless chickens. Make no mistake, we made it difficult for them today (apart from the goal, of course). Their style of play makes it look like they aren't putting the effort in. They are patient, slow in the build up waiting for the right opportunity to pounce. We let very few of these opportunities arise through our solid tactical setup. I'm sure Kompany wasn't trying when he pulled his hamstring as well... The problem for us is a lack of quality in our final decision making. The effort of the team is there for all to see, there is no doubt they are playing for Nigel Pearson. Despite the defeat, it was a much more positive performance today and there was some promise with the midfield trio and the threat of Mahrez. City had very few chances. Admittedly they were under par today but the champions of England playing under par should still be able to beat us. I left the ground today happier, despite the defeat. It's a long old season and we shouldn't give up hope just yet.
Dynamogoon Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 been a ST.holder for 20odd years pal...probably whilst you were still in your dads ballsack. Just not as easily pleased as you obviously...now go do your homework theres a good boy!!! Nice try dude, ive been over 30 years. I get behind the boys when they've done well that's all. I don't expect miracles against the premier league champions. You appear to be the sort of LCFC fan that I am ashamed to be associated with. Bet you sit there moaning about the atmosphere as well mate. Pick your chin off the floor and get involved mate.

orangecity23 Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 thats not even funny. I feel embarrassed for you. Whoooooosh. Last time I bother sticking up for you, obviously the irony was completely lost on you.
Unabomber Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 well this is awkward, I love raj and orangecity.
Dickov22 Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Thoughts from the game are that Man City barely broke sweat. They are so so good. We gave it lots of effort and look miles better with 3 in the middle. So annoyed at Pearson that he didn't do that sooner whilst still retaining width. We literally threw away points against WBA and Villa. Mahrez was absolutely fantastic. Effort, confidence (not many of our lads have this at the moment), skill, ability. He's brilliant. Cambiasso is class. Drinkwater needs to play every week. We didn't have a single shot on target. Plenty of endeavour but just no quality really.
orangecity23 Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Thanks UB, much love. I was actually trying to stick up for Raj using Sarcasm, the point was RAJ HAS BEEN ON FT FOR BLOODY YEARS- OF COURSE HE'S NOT A MAN CITY FAN. Guess I shouldn't bother wading into other people's beefs.
Dynamogoon Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Not telling you how to be a fan Raj. That's up to you. Just telling you that your negative attitude is what makes us a laughing stock. Our performances have been awful recently. Today we held our own and impressed. End of. Big positive as far as I'm concerned, more of this will see us competative. Sorry for disagreeing with such a legend as you Raj. Never heard of you mate. Get over yourself

Dynamogoon Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Hmmmm I think past performances, results and efforts over the past 11 games have done that. Don't disagree with that. But I feel positive about today's performance. Anyone who doesn't see that needs to get a reality check. Marked improvement. That's my point
