ousefox Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Coming from one of Gerrard's biggest fans, he was anonymous yesterday. He's lost his legs unfortunately and is not influential at all in the position he's being played.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 All this arse licking of Gerrard is infuriating, he's been shit in both ties against us and everyone hails him as a genius, team of the weak? Give me a break Garth, he was absolutely shit, knocking the occasional 40 yard pass doesn't make you a world beater. He's got three goals in both ties against us and before the old Nugent line comes out again I think Liverpool fans count penalties!
Raj Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 I hate lpool but gerrard was difference at the home game. Surely the ref will be reprimanded in some way by the authorities? Dont they normally relegate them to cchip fir a game or two???
BigMicky Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 He tried the long ball a few times which went straight out of play, if that's not giving the ball away what is? Like someone posted earlier, motd showed his passing range and failed to show the ball run out for a goal kick/throw in. In one game, think about how many cross field 40 yard balls that have been inch perfect in his career. It could be argued that Henderson wasn't on the same wave length. He is such a tidy player, they guy has been increadible for years.
Rich Fox Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 He's got three goals in both ties against us and before the old Nugent line comes out again I think Liverpool fans count penalties! So do you think both penaltys should have been awarded?
Leicesterpool Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 What a day it was yesterday once again Leicester were unlucky! unlucky to have another crap ref and to also not to have won. It was an outstanding performance against a really poor, disappointing Liverpool side. The ref did save Liverpool's day, the two pens they got weren't. First half they were awful hardly tested Hamer at all and second half they didn't have much to write about. Leicester first half were good, we defended very well and it wasn't there fault about the pens. Second half we played beautiful football, we just attacked and attacked and it sort paid off. Credit to Pearson for changing things, switching things to a 4-4-2 I believe did work as maybe the 4-5-1 wasn't causing Liverpool much problems. On Liverpool a lot of there stars didn't show up on the day, Hamer apart from picking the ball out of the net twice from the pens didn't have much to worry about. Come the final whistle despite letting go a two goal lead, I think Liverpool fans were more relieved than frustrated. A lot of there fans think I know how fortunate they were. The ref once again was shocking, out of the three appeals they had only one i thought was a pen and that was the one near the end. I think at half time the ref probably seen some of the footage of the decisions and probably realised they were a mistake, probably explains why we got most the decisions in the second half. On performances Schlupp was outstanding and deserved MOTM, Nugent played a big part when he came on and what a goal from him, Mahrez was faultless, the defence had a good day also De Laet at left back I mean wow! Konchesky as got his work cut out to get back in the team. One of the best away days I been too, atmosphere from the foxes faithful was outstanding while the Liverpool support was disappointing considering all the praise they've got over the years about there wonderful support.

Dont they normally relegate them to cchip fir a game or two??? Jones was relegated as a result of the Aguero dive and then made a mistake in the next game between Wolves & Bournemouth. He was then given the week off.

He needs to be in the middle.
ScouseFox Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 Yea Henderson as some kind of right wing back, no strikers and emre can at centre half, the whole liverpool team was just bemusing. He basically chose 11 good players and didn't put them in a formation. And it didn't work cos they were awful.

I apologise, I thought this was all about the game yesterday not his whole career, if thata the case he should start every game.

Danno Posted 2 January 2015 Posted 2 January 2015 My favourite part of the game yesterday was where the crowd were appealing 'handball' for literally everytime a player touched the ball, causing Schlupp to appeal for handball waving his arms because Mignolet caught it.

I didn't see that bit! It's astonishing reading one of their forums and how the Liverpool fans can turn on Rodgers and Gerrard in an instant. Well, I say astonishing but we have some pretty moronic posters/fans too.

It was quality! Even singing "Handball handball, handball handball". Then when all the shushing Liverpool died down and some bloke screams "Handball!!" at nothing
ScouseFox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I enjoyed that "handballlll" even got a mention on motd
