And as you can all clearly see - it's hit his hand, the ref was correct!

EDIT: ROLLEYES added just in case anyone (JJJSHabadoo) didn't pick up on the sarcasm

So frustrating that we are still 4 points adrift. I think we will still go down. But im glad we are putting up a real fight

That's it Jimmeh, keep the positivity rolling!

Great result. Disgusting refereeing.

I was in the home end and I've never been in such a quiet ground in my life. It was absolutely pathetic. I'd hate to have to go there every week. I was whispering to my mate and he could still here me. I could clearly hear what Pearson was shouting to Ulloa from the other side of the pitch.

Leicester fans were class. The celebrations for the second goal looked mad. I did well not to react.

Shame every other bloody team managed to pick up points.

We still have a huge amount to do and being a Leicester fan I tend towards pessimism. I just hope we can keep the gap at around 2 points til the last couple of games of the season - Sunderland and QPR.

It's the very least that we need to do, just keep in touch. I'd rate our fighting spirit over any of the bottom six, even Burnley.

While the managers' cull took place post-Christmas, our Nigel stayed firmly in place. A lot of credit goes to the owners for standing by him.

We may still go down but the performances over Christmas prove the players still believe in him, there's still quality in the side and the prospect of us going down with an embarrassing whimper has gone.  Survival will be a miracle but at least now there's a glimmer of hope

Step up Messrs. Albrighton and Knockaert!

Disappointing the referee was an arsehole.

I know I don't like blaming referee's when we fail to win but thats because I feel people find that an easy excuse to make, but today he genuinely did **** us over but can you honestly make a case for him DB11, i've been asking all afternoon, you normally can.

Was in Kop with my lad. Home fans unanimous around me in agreeing Leicester better team. Schlupp Mahrez both fantastic

where abouts on the wirral do you live?

I really don't understand why so many of our fans keep repeating this. Yes, it will be tough, but we don't need a miracle.

Exactly this. We need to gain 4 points over the rest of the poorest teams in the league and over the last couple of games we looked like the team who could've been pushing for a strong midtable finish at the start of the season. If we carry on how we've end the holiday period we could well be out of the bottom three by February.

How will making four points over eighteen games be a miracle? How?

Sorry to be rude but it's like some people have never watched football before, it's as if they don't know that that sort of thing happens all the time.

Well played today, and unlucky not to win, but it will take a titanic effort to save ourselves from the drop. I would like to think this is the start of a revival, and just pray we stop turning in sloppy performances again.,

Just got back. So proud of the lads coming back from 2-0 down. Passion, determination was all there.

Thought we deserved more too. Penalties were a joke.

The recent results are even better considering Liverpool's previous result and Hull's result today!

If three teams finish below us come May it will be talked of in terms of a miracle (considering the horrible run we had before Hull, blah, blah) and Pearson will get every plaudit he deserves. It doesn't happen all the time but how I want it to happen this time

That picture doesn't clearly show anything. Saw the replay from every angle - it clearly hits him square in the face and bounces up over his left shoulder, doesn't touch any part of Morgan's arm at any point. The commentators said so, BBC website even says so. The second did glance off Simpson's arm but he couldn't have done anything about it.

First penalty was an abomination of a decision, second was massively dubious that given the circumstances of the first, any decent referee would have definitely waved away. Liverpool given two free goals which really could have cost us. It's a bit of a stink that any other day we'd have won that, but knowing so many Liverpool fans will be pissed off with not winning despite a 2 goal lead is pretty sweet.

Wow. Still on the way back from Scouseland. Couldn't really fault us today, we battled and mythered the life out of them. Even after the ref took leave of his senses we still carried on. Jeff, Nuge, Mahrez all awesome. I thought we took the piss out of Liverpool a bit and was even less impressed with them than I was when we played them at Filbert Way. Overrated. Our fans were awesome - sarcastic and loud!

Sad to see Drinky hobble off, looked like a groin injury. Any news yet?
