NP just interviewed on sky just now, he has so much integrity and deserves respect. Questioned directly about the 2 pen decisions he paused and then spoke at how beneficial video technology would be to resolve issues in the ground. Makes his point with out being controversial or Warnock like. I hope we stick with him regardless of league position this year, the players speak volumes for the man in their approach to the game. Happy start to 2015.

great to hear that Cambiasso was encouraging everyone forward towards the end, even though it wasnt good for the nerves!!

Comment from Nuge about not being happy to have not started the game in his interview on Final Score...im sure he'll be getting a look in for a start after today!

After the second penalty I decided not to look at the score until I knew it was full time. As we were playing so well but still 2-0 down I thought It was going to be 4 or 5-0 so I was pleasently surprised to see we had equalized from 2 down! Anfield is a hard place to go and get any points from as Swansea shown the other night.

Just a shame teams around us picked up points too.

I said before the game we need a draw, we got the draw, i'm happy, I am abit gutted we didn't win though given how Liverpool got their goals and we should have been two up before they got their two penalties.

The first penalty was definetly not a penalty, the 2nd I think was, i've certainly seen them given and if it had been a Liverpool player i'd have been calling for a penalty.

We have grounds to blame the referee, however we should have made the most of our two guilt edged chances we failed to score before those penalties were given, could have been a totally different game.

I've been a big critic of Nugent recently and for good reason (IMO, obviously) but he took his goal very well today, hopefully this can kick start him now, I still question if he's good enough though and think we need better - it remains to be seen and as always I really do hope he proves me wrong.

We need to push on from here now, tbh I don't want the FA Cup game to come, I want league games, we need to keep this run going (A win and a draw, two games lol) against teams that are around us, we need to get points now, no messing about, keep it up!

Just got on the coach back. Absolutely gutted we didn't win that. We were the better team until their second, after that there were no team dominating the game. Then we were bossing the game for the first 35 minutes of the second half. A couple of poor decisions, unlucky bobbles and miskicks stopped us from taking the lead earlier, but the overall performance was fantastic.

Really, really proud of the boys though.

Liverpool didn't deserve anything from that game.

Deserved to win. Excellent performance from everyone, very proud of the boys today.

Only thing and it's a real sickener - the other results today. Further adrift than we were before today, but now we have two home games in the league and we can take confidence into them. We need 4 or 6 points from them.

They're lacking that particular kind of bite, though.

Nice Suarez pun :)

Great effort from the lads today, can't believe there is no television ref with today's technology

Great display from the team today, I honestly didn't think we'd get anything today but we were superb I thought, made Liverpool look quite poor at home. Nuge's goal was a belter. If we follow this up with league wins against Villa and Stoke then I would be ecstatic. Foxes never quit.

I'm missing weller54, lestajigs and Foxy.Palace with their unstintingly positive contributions.

one nigel pearson. happy new year.

we could've won by three or four with a sane ref, we really could. great end too.

have to echo what a few others have said, so proud of leicester today. I (and every other leicester fan) was fuming at half time but the lads were extremely professional and kept level heads and got on top. had they felt sorry for themselves they could have been beaten 4 or 5 nil but they got on with it and put in a fantastic performance.

Up the foxes!!

The gap to safety actually grew a point today, but psychologcally, the BELIEF is growing

Mike Jones was an absolute joke, but I can't be anymore proud of the teams efforts today, the work rate they should especially second half was magnificent, so much so we probably deserved to win the game.

Schlupp & Nugent joint MOTM for me, worked tirelessly all game & two great strikes from both, honourable mentions to James & Hammond as well they pressured magnificently, won possession & kept the ball well at times.

Brilliant performance

I'm on a bus with seemingly half the kop (except it's noisier) and they're actually complaining about the ref. I'm utterly bemused.

Amazing what a bit of confidence does for a team. Despite the awful run of results it does seem that the team spirit is still strong and they sink or swim together, I like that.

Probably because they had paid him off for the win, not a draw.
