Jimmy Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I really hope we haven't done anything like that I don't want us to be 1 of those clubs and I love seeing LCFC represented at major tournaments
Corky Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I really hope we haven't done anything like that I don't want us to be 1 of those clubs and I love seeing LCFC represented at major tournaments I doubt we have, we've let our most creative and in form player go to the same tournament.
Tielemans63 Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Not sure you should trust any journo that refers to a footballer as a 'flanker'.
Dan Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I saw the tunnel cam yesterday to see if there was anything interesting at full time. One thing I noticed was Schlupp walking absolutely fine We've had them on I reckon.
Stadt Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I saw the tunnel cam yesterday to see if there was anything interesting at full time. One thing I noticed was Schlupp walking absolutely fine We've had them on I reckon. He was independently assessed and they came to the same conclusion, so I don't think we have.We let our best player go so if we were attempting to pull our player out it'd be Riyad
Guest Cujek Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 We need him more than he needs to go the mickeymouse cup of nations, I have a felling Jeff would prefer to stay and help us stay up, it would look bad on him if he refused to go, so the injury thing is best all round imo (assuming its what happened)
Callabinho Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 The same side who left him out of the WC squad?
Charl91 Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Haha good. Albrighton and Schlupp starters till Mahrez returns then. Naah, Albrighton and Knocky please! We created a lot of chances against a Villa who, while poor, have been very good defensively. Both of them deserve to keep their place against Stoke.
ADK Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I doubt we've done anything wrong. Schlupp is a family man with a young kid and wife. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't overjoyed at the prospect of spending 5 weeks in Africa rather than being here with his family and continuing to build his value with his current club form. Can see both arguments but at the end of the day another Ghanaian player who actually wants to be there will get the chance to play for his country.
lgfualol Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Probably wouldnt have even made the bench for Ghana. There is an ACON every year so they'll have to wait their turn
Guest Cujek Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Maybe he wants to hold out for Germany? Is he eligible for England at all, due to residency?
The Doctor Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Maybe he wants to hold out for Germany? Is he eligible for England at all, due to residency? Already played competitively for Ghana, so he's only eligible for them,
Guest Cujek Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Already played competitively for Ghana, so he's only eligible for them, does that still count? i thought Costa swapped from Brazil to Spain after a competitive match? Could have just been friendlies though i havemt done any research
The Doctor Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 does that still count? i thought Costa swapped from Brazil to Spain after a competitive match? Could have just been friendlies though i havemt done any research You can't change international sides after being declared and playing competitively. Costa had only played two friendlies for Brazil.
StanSP Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Maybe because it happened a minute before full-time? And we'd used all 3 of our subs
Sharpe's Fox Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Born in Germany and raised in Milton Keynes weren't he? Got has much to do with Ghana as my left bollock, we've all got ancestry going back to Africa, Avram!
LCCFox96 Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 I doubt Schlupp would want to miss a major international tournament if given the choice. He's clearly been injured and would probably be out there now but for. Nothing in this but media shit stirring in my opinion.
Jimmy Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Born in Germany and raised in Milton Keynes weren't he? Got has much to do with Ghana as my left bollock, we've all got ancestry going back to Africa, Avram! Both parents are from Ghana
justfoxes Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 According to some reports the Ghanaian Fa are unhappy that Schluppy played for us yesterday after reports regarding his injury, some apparently recon we kept him back on purpose to help us in our relegation fight ? But if that was the case wouldn't we have done the same to MAHREZ ???! But in this read it's like NIGEL in a nice way stuck two fingers up to the Ghanaian FA TOLD THEM TO SORT THEIR OWN PROBLEMS OUT ! http://www.ghanasoccernet.com/leicester-manager-nigel-pearson-blames-ghana-fa-excluding-jeffrey-schlupp-afcon-squad/?
justfoxes Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 But he got scans? Didnt he? Yes two one for Leicester and an independent scan for the Ghanaian fa which came to the same conclusion,Bizzare really !!
DeclanMC Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Whatever fine FIFA could impose is probably worth it if he scores a few match winners between now and mid-feb.
Katy Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 It's lazy journalism, even if it was true everything was conducted how it was supposed to - with the independent scans etc so Ghana don't have a leg to stand on if they wanted to kick off.
johnny the fox Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Laughable..Ghana have done zip for the lads development and career..
