Raj Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Its a piece of pi.ss aw . You can basically whack in.any combo of fruit n veg and just experiment with that you like. Only prep you do is peel the fruit as if you were eating it...a good tip also is to use frozen spinach. You get 2 little mugs n a big un which have tops so you can take to work but you'll need to give it a damn good shake as the fruit Etc settles. Cleaning is easy too...fill the mug with hot water and just whiz on the blender!
Webbo Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 What's the difference between Nutribullet and a normal blender?
Raj Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 What's the difference between Nutribullet and a normal blender?it just pulvetises everything webbo .There are no bits and pulp left and in theory you get more nutrients. Listen it took me over a year to justify buying a "blender"for £80.Its alot of cash but if you use it daily its like an investment in health!!!!
Buce Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Although taters are technically vegetables, nutritionally they are a carbohydrate and don't count as one of your '5 a day'. I have a question, though: Where does Matt's vitamin C come from? He clearly gets it from somewhere or he'd have scurvy.

AoWW Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 For those that are into juicing... where do you find is the best (and most economic) place to get your fruit and veg? For me, going to a market isn't a viable option, and I'm well-aware how expensive fresh produce are in many supermarkets. Is one better than another for fresh stuff? Or has anyone tried a fruit/veg box delivery service?
Babylon Posted 19 January 2015 Posted 19 January 2015 Juicing... what the hell has happened to this country. It's full of sleeve tattooed juicing gym bunnies (when they aren't on a sun bed) with beards and sloppy side partings and scoop neck all saints tops.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 19 January 2015 Posted 19 January 2015 Don't forget the sheep who tie their hair in a weird pony tail on top of their head

Or has anyone tried a fruit/veg box delivery service? Get it from lidl or Aldi. The fruit and veg is probably on par with Sainsburys / Waitrose. Unfortunately supermarkets con us with fancy packaging which makes fruit and veg more expensive. I got 6 kiwis for a £1, big bag of kale and spinach for 80p each. punnet of grapes 1.50, blueberries for £1 and frozen raspberries £1. banas about 50p for 6. Its dirt cheap and good quality. Reckon it costs me a fiver tops a week fof ruit and veg which will do every morning for two of us. Fill it up with water or almond milk. Put some seeds in if you are feeling extra healthy.

Serious question... is there not a load of sugars in a lot of this juicing stuff. Natural granted, but still a lot if people are packing in a lot of fruit?
Tommy G Posted 19 January 2015 Author Posted 19 January 2015 Serious question... is there not a load of sugars in a lot of this juicing stuff. Natural granted, but still a lot if people are packing in a lot of fruit? Depends if you go mad with the fruit. Say like this morning I had kale, spinach, avocado and blueberries and water. If i had pineapple, orange, banana, mango with full fat yoghurt and honey then yeh loads of sugar. I'm not a nutritionist but i think the body recognises sugar whether its from an apple or a mars bar the same. (someone can clarify this) But nutribullet doesn't juice things, there is no way to extract the pulp, skin etc or fruit and veg, its all included. need to stop confusing it with a juicer. It does this as it has a better motor, its got the motor of a Audi RS6 whereas your avergae blender is a Rover 25. You get the picture.

I think refined is broken down quicker in the body compared to natural so you get spikes rather than slow release. Something like that. I just can't imagine mixing veg with fruit... doesn't compute! Will it mix roast spuds and beef with the veg?

Dr The Singh Posted 19 January 2015 Posted 19 January 2015 Nutribullet is $89 here in the US, why does UK always get ripped off

notnow john Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 I've gone for the Blendtec after reading a few reports of Nutribullet motor burnout. It has a 1500 watt motor and an eight year guarantee.
Buce Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 Oi, I'm nothing like that! When did you shave-off the beard....?
