Stadt Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Basically we had Ryan Mcgivern, then we had Naughton on the other side so he was a demi-god
Tuna Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 Basically we had Ryan Mcgivern, then we had Naughton on the other side so he was a demi-god They weren't here at the same time. Neilson was on the right with McGivern on the left.
ScouseFox Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 They weren't here at the same time. Neilson was on the right with McGivern on the left. well there we go. naughton replaced robbie neilson, I'd have been praised on here if I'd have replaced robbie ****ing neilson
Dan Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 They weren't here at the same time. Neilson was on the right with McGivern on the left. Neilson was crap but McGivern was just a completely new level of shit. He wouldn't have gotten in our Levein/Kelly sides, he was dreadful. Morrison and Berner made up for it. Loved Bruno Berner.
MC Prussian Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 We're in need of a proper LB, another centre-back and an attacking midfielder, anyway. So, no.
indierich06 Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 Just seen Swansea have signed Naughton, good young versatile player with premier league eexperience. A player we probably needed. Not really, we don't need another RB.
Guest Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 If only we could sign every player we wanted. I know that we love our team above all others but most football players do not have us very high on their wishlist - even championship players.
kingcarr21 Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 Mainly a RB. which is an area we dont need to improve atm. Plus he is actually not a very good player so dodged a bullet if it was going to take 5m to get him
Buzzell Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 I'm a little disappointed that we haven't signed Ronaldo and Messi tbh.
Candidcamera Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 Agree, not really. He has no height for a defender and we are small as a team. He is a good footballer but we need someone with more physical presence.
shailen Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 don't need him. Have better or the same level players in that position. A left back is a BIGGER priority.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 I think he'd be an improvement on De Laet and Simpson for sure so yes, disappointed
AspectFox Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 Frustrated with everything , apparently Pearson went for naughton but it fell down on personal terms naughton wanted a Big Mac and large fries thrown in with his wages but it went over the budget so we pulled the plug on the deal ! Oh how we laughed! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Callabinho Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 He never would have come here, just because he used to play for us doesn't mean he will want to come back. Swansea are a much better choice provided he can get in the team.
okie fox Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 Naughton has looked mediocre in the premier league.
MattyFromLE Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 What would you prefer, Swansea or Leicester? There is your answer.
MHC Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 What would you prefer, Swansea or Leicester? There is your answer. Leicester.
MattyFromLE Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 Leicester. If you were a footballer, and not a Leicester fan - I think your answer would be different.
MHC Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 If you were a footballer, and not a Leicester fan - I think your answer would be different. Yes it probably would be but I am not a footballer and I am a Leicester fan so it's perhaps not the best place to ask that question even if I do unserstand where you're coming from.
Blue Ed Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 Not really. From what I've seen of him this season he wouldn't have added anything to our squad
weller54 Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 No big surprise, we keep missing out on targets..And so it goes on!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 Not particularly fussed with this one, an average right back who probably would of been a make shift left back, I would much sooner we try and buy a creative midfielder.
AndWhat? Posted 23 January 2015 Posted 23 January 2015 If you were a footballer, and not a Leicester fan - I think your answer would be different. Not really. Go live in the middle of England or the arse end of Wales.......? Pretty easy decision for me!
