JP the Fox Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Just seen Swansea have signed Naughton, good young versatile player with premier league eexperience. A player we probably needed.
Fatbloke Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 We didn`t "miss out", we were never interested in the first place !
lgfualol Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 We don't need him. We have premiership quality already in Konchesky and De Laet
NewquayFox Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Is 'Fraudrated' a new website where the better you are at fiddling your tax & accounts the more work you get?
Dr The Singh Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 We don't need him. We have premiership quality already in Konchesky and De Laet like it!!
Brooksy Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Spurs fans said he was shit and we've already got 3 shit fullbacks.
Nalis Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 No, why would he join us at the moment when Swansea (right now) are an established Premier League team and are more or less guaranteed Premier League football ?
Spanner73 Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Frustrated with everything , apparently Pearson went for naughton but it fell down on personal terms naughton wanted a Big Mac and large fries thrown in with his wages but it went over the budget so we pulled the plug on the deal !

God, you're hilarious.
shen Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Naughton has been gash every time I've seen him since he had his spell with us. He is nothing special and £5mil, we would be much better off looking elsewhere. Besides, why get in another right-back/right-footed left-back?
Clever Fox Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Never thought he was good enough for us. We need a rough house defender who'll put the frighteners on the opposition.
Suffolk exile Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 5m - for a fringe player. No. Not really disappointed. An attacking cm is more of priority for me.
cc_star Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Had a good spell for us, although he was AWOL (caught up the pitch) for a few of our conceded goals. Gets red carded a lot And to be honest has been abysmal since he left us Not frustrated at all for that kinda money
Tuna Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Not bothered in the slightest. We didn't need him and he was overpriced at 5 million.
SecretPro Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Not particularly. However Pearsons comments on SSN this afternoon about struggling to bring targets in is a real worry now.
JP the Fox Posted 22 January 2015 Author Posted 22 January 2015 We don't need him. We have premiership quality already in Konchesky and De Laet Konch?! PMSL
Dan Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 I'd rather go for Neil Taylor. A good left back at this level going for a decent price. If we weren't in for him - why?
Gio Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Not bothered at all. I would have liked him in summer to play RB if we didn't get Simpson but he's not as good at left back and certainly not worth £5 million. Would much rather go for Olsson (Norwich), natural left back, prem experience and probably available for less or similar amount.
Richard Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 Do we need a third right back? No. Do we need a right back playing at left back? No. Signing Naughton would just be trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. No point signing him just because he was/is a decent player if he's not going to improve what we've already got.
ScouseFox Posted 22 January 2015 Posted 22 January 2015 nah he's not that good. he looked good in the championship when we played well and were comparing him to right backs we were used to like alan maybury and darren kenton. then he scored like 3 good goals and nobody even seemed to care he was an average player cos he scored a screamer v barnsley man.
