ousefox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Gerrard winning the cup would be my second choice to Leicester. Definitely deserves to go out with something like that.
Stadt Posted 24 January 2015 Author Posted 24 January 2015 I'd quite like to avoid Bradford and Sheff U tbh, they're both great cup ties and they'd see us as a winnable tie - an average championship side at home would be ideal in my book. Gerrard winning the cup would be my second choice to Leicester. Definitely deserves to go out with something like that. He would deserve it if Liverpool win, not because of who he is.
Lionheart Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Actually if Lpool get though i want them.Stop Gerrard getting a trophy before he fooks off to play mickey mouse football I don't fancy Liverpools chances in the replay at Bolton,c'mon Lennon & Heskey.
davieG Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Premier League Team FA Cup status 1 Chelsea OUT 2 Man City OUT 3 Southampton OUT 4 Man Utd REPLAY 5 Arsenal STILL TO PLAY 6 Tottenham OUT 7 West Ham STILL TO PLAY 8 Liverpool REPLAY 9 Swansea OUT 10 Stoke STILL TO PLAY 11 Newcastle OUT 12 Everton OUT 13 Crystal Palace THROUGH 14 West Brom THROUGH 15 Aston Villa STILL TO PLAY 16 Sunderland REPLAY 17 Burnley OUT 18 Hull OUT 19 QPR OUT 20 Leicester THROUGH
DB11 Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Gerrard winning the cup would be my second choice to Leicester. Definitely deserves to go out with something like that. Why does he? For being blind and staying at one club - sentiment wins you nothing but having ambition does.
AKCJ Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Gerrard winning the cup would be my second choice to Leicester. Definitely deserves to go out with something like that. Why does he deserve it?
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Definitely can see Villa going out to Bournemouth, Arsenal have a tricky away tie at Brighton but think they will have enough to win, if they get through Arsenal are the ones I want us to avoid.
ousefox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Why does he? For being blind and staying at one club - sentiment wins you nothing but having ambition does. I'd stay at Leicester and not win anything for as long as they wanted me if I was a pro. He's won basically everything but the league by staying there and played at his home town club. Why does he deserve it? It would be a fitting way for one of the best English players ever to grace the Premier League to finish his career in England. Just because he's lost it a bit now, people seem to think he wasn't all that for some bizarre reason. He's also arguably been one of the best players England have had over the last ten years - second to Ashley Cole I'd say.
ADK Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Would like a home game. Preferably avoid Arsenal, Man U, West Ham or Stoke.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 For all Gerrard has won the slip up he made against Chelsea will live with him forever, cost them the title.
bovril Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Living on bramall lane, also working in a blades pub i would love Sheff UTD home or away Which pub?
Raj Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Lose lose? I wouldn't class progressing to the FA Cup quarters as a loss myself, and with the 'minnows' we have a greater chance of that, in spite of the shocks some of them have been pulling off.one wordwycombe
Raj Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Gerrard winning the cup would be my second choice to Leicester. Definitely deserves to go out with something like that.GET OUT!
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 As if Cambridge are going to win at old Trafford Yeah, as if Bradford are going to go to Stamford Bridge and beat an almost full-strength Chelsea 4-2 after being 2-0 down... Anything is possible in the cup, that's what's so great about it. I'm also not having this "winnable game for the next round" - look at all the big teams getting dumped out by lower league opposition. They were what you'd call "winnable" ties whereas Spurs you wouldn't. Any game is "winnable"
cityfanlee23 Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 As if Cambridge are going to win at old Trafford Cambridge away please, Then I don't have to travel
Mayofox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Living on bramall lane, also working in a blades pub i would love Sheff UTD home or awayIs the "Pump Tavern" still open, just off The Moor"? Once saw a nice fracas in there between Blades/Owls.
promised land Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 As if Cambridge are going to win at old Trafford 2010 league 1 Leeds Utd beat Man Utd under Fergie and who scored the goal. You just never know in this cup and today has proved that.
ousefox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 GET OUT! I just don't get how people can't appreciate what an incredible player he was. I know he was part of an England squad that should have achieved far more, but he was one of the few who can come out of it with a bit of credit.
Stadt Posted 24 January 2015 Author Posted 24 January 2015 I just don't get how people can't appreciate what an incredible player he was. I know he was part of an England squad that should have achieved far more, but he was one of the few who can come out of it with a bit of credit. It doesn't mean he deserves to win the cup, it'd be fitting but he only deserves it if Liverpool win it.
trabuch Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 I love the FA Cup. Just watched the Bantams beating Cheatsea on MOTD and I almost enjoyed that as much as Jeff's winner today. #plastic . I would much rather we won the FA Cup than stay up.
ousefox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 It doesn't mean he deserves to win the cup, it'd be fitting but he only deserves it if Liverpool win it.Haha fair enough if you want to be pedantic about it.
theessexfox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 one word wycombe Obviously shocks can happen and in many ways we're more likely to get stung by one of the 'minnows' but it'd give us a greater chance of progression.
phg Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 We've had a couple of tough ties, let's have a winnable home draw and just get to last 8 where anything can happen. Bradford at home please. See what they did to Cheatski?
Voll Blau Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 Avoid Palace please!!! Oh, you're interested in the Cup now then? Happy with any tie as long as it gets moved to Sunday. Land at Luton airport at 3.10pm on the Saturday!
