weller54 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 For goodness sake, what on earth is wrong with you all? During the past few seasons, there have been many games in the Premier League, where even some of the top clubs have lost by 4, 5, 6 and even 7. That is football. So far this season, no team has hammered City. We were bound (if it so happens today), to have come up against a team who would score a lot of goals against us. Why do many of you seem to loose all self-control on this thread? Not LOOSE again!!!
m4DD0gg Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I respect him for getting us promoted as Champions, personally, after half a decade of dodging relegation to League One, but we could always get that nice Mr. Sousa back. That is true but fundamentally he lacks some of the most important skills required for life as a premier league manager. Sad but true.
BigWesMorgan Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Team for the rest of the season with signings. Hamer Simpson Wasilewski Huth De Laet Cambiasso James Mahrez Kramaric Schlupp Ulloa
Bluefoxtim Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Pearson is arrogant and clueless, surely his most ardent supporters must see that. I do respect him for being old school, his scouting network and the whole sports science thing he has got going on BUT week after week after week he gets some of the most basic things wrong in terms of tactics, formation, lineup and subs. Sports science is old school?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 No I think all we were looking for was some joined up tactical thinking for a changeWhat with Pearson the tactical genius
steveherbe Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 As long as Sousa has the balls to drop agent Morgan, thats fine by me. And yes, I was at the 6 1 Pompey drubbing!
Babylon Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Who made you the rationale Police, if you are, you need to arrest Pearson first before pointing fingers at others I've said I'd have gone 5, stated it preseason and numerous times since. So yes, in my opinion it was a mistake to go with a 4 today. But some of the critisism is confusing about the changes as it's contradictory.
IsItMuzzy Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Who's up for ransacking Stringer's house whilst he off in Scotland? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
undey Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Nearly just choked on my tea... not sure why this tickled me!! Hahah no explanation needed
Guest Bilo Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Scoring 28 goals in Croatia is akin to League 3 here!! What about a hat-trick in the Europa League already this season?
BigMicky Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 That is true but fundamentally he lacks some of the most important skills required for life as a premier league manager. Sad but true. Which are??
David Hankey Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Finally some sense. Throwing our toys out of the pram over this game is ridiculous. We have much more important battles ahead. And a game less and becoming increasingly reliant on other teams failing. I think our position in the league could have told you that Today has confirm it.
BigMicky Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 And a game less and becoming increasingly reliant on other teams failing. Did you honestly think we would get something out of this game?? If so, you are beyond help.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 As long as Sousa has the balls to drop agent Morgan, thats fine by me. And yes, I was at the 6 1 Pompey drubbing! I would hope that if/when Huth comes in (and after he's served his ban), we go with Huth and Wasyl, but I can't see us dropping the captain.
Riot Van Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Team for the rest of the season with signings. Hamer Simpson Wasilewski Huth De Laet Cambiasso James Mahrez Kramaric Schlupp Ulloa No one cares, this is the Man Utd away Match Thread.
Master Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Come on you tosspots, at least get 1 goal you hopeless f4ckers
Torten Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 could we have the ball for the throw in please Juan
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 And a game less and becoming increasingly reliant on other teams failing. Today has confirm it. Manchester United at old Trafford. What are people realistically expecting.
Fox Ulike Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 So people wanted 5 in the middle, people wanted Albrighton on... we've got that and now Pearson is an idiot because ulloa isn't up top on his own?? He's not mobile enough to do that and too slow to chase around and put pressure on. No. Pearson is an idiot cos he waits until we're 3-0 down before fielding a side with any resemblance to a sensible formation to go to Old Trafford with. Oh, and yes you're right. Then he subs our top goal scorer. So he's an idiot for that too. Oh. Plus for dropping Hamer too.
Babylon Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Apparently just having albrighton on the pitch will turn him into a world beater though. Is that the same Albrighton who was a "waste of a signing" for the first 20 odd games? I get some of the critisism today, not trying to defend Pearson on that. But some of the critisism it so badly thought through it's mental. We'd have about 14 players on the pitch getting all the people on the pitch in the positions people want
Troop3r Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Scoring 28 goals in Croatia is akin to League 3 here!! He played in a team that is better than yours...
blueharmie Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Got to 70mins. Changed over. Can't watch this. Jesus what a difference in teams Not worth watching we have done **** all as expected.
Guest Col city fan Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Manchester United at old Trafford. What are people realistically expecting. Not to have a two man central midfield of King and Drinkwater might be a start.
David Hankey Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Manchester United at old Trafford. What are people realistically expecting. Not a capitulation!!
