We both agreed...going to Old Trafford and fielding a bloody midfield two of King and Drink water is WEAK at this level. God knows what Pearson is doing. We also agreed, this afternoon means diddly. But lose next weekend against Palace and it's probably curtains. Today is Pearson at his worst. Terrible selection. I'm beyond complaining about the team selection. It's truely baffling. King and Drinkwater have always struggled as a midfield two due to the lack of defensive capabilities in the partnership. We'd always lose at places like Millwall two years ago in the Championship with them two together. So Lord knows how they're supposed to play well at Old Trafford. Dropping an in form goalie for a new recruit though. That's a new low for Pearson... Last bloke to do that was Sven when he dropped Weale for Ricarrdo.

Starts the game with the most lightweight midfield ever, sticks a striker out of form on the wing over recognised wide players and then brings another central midfielder on at 3-0 down. Plus to top it all off he sticks the current Croatian number 9 on the wing in the 2nd half and the replaces him with David "just happy to be here" Nugent.
