Bob Weasel Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Pearson is a clueless pratThat's harsh . . . . On prats (only kidding pearsonites)
v6rat Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Yeah because his long track record of premier league excellence will get him a deal somewhere else. Unlike the bus pass the current goalie should be getting.
bellind Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Looking forward to Pearson's post match thoughts The same grumpy comments
Callabinho Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Kramaric had nothing today, no service, support, nothing. So to suggest he's a waste is is pathetic. We need him against the sides in and around, whom I hasten to add are all dropping points, today is annoying but it's premier league kids, these kind of games are coupon busters one we have already claimed. We have to take the oppourtunities against the teams in the fight with us, not sides like Man united.
Babylon Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 So people wanted 5 in the middle, people wanted Albrighton on... we've got that and now Pearson is an idiot because ulloa isn't up top on his own?? He's not mobile enough to do that and too slow to chase around and put pressure on.
Riot Van Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Wait is Nugent now playing as a lone striker? thought you were doing your homework?
m4DD0gg Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Pearson is arrogant and clueless, surely his most ardent supporters must see that. I do respect him for being old school, his scouting network and the whole sports science thing he has got going on BUT week after week after week he gets some of the most basic things wrong in terms of tactics, formation, lineup and subs.
Phube Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Are we seriously parking the bus 3-0 down??? Wtf is going on Nearly just choked on my tea... not sure why this tickled me!!

Dr The Singh Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 So people wanted 5 in the middle, people wanted Albrighton on... we've got that and now Pearson is an idiot because ulloa isn't up top on his own?? He's not mobile enough to do that and too slow to chase around and put pressure on. Who made you the rationale Police, if you are, you need to arrest Pearson first before pointing fingers at others

I respect him for getting us promoted as Champions, personally, after half a decade of dodging relegation to League One, but we could always get that nice Mr. Sousa back.
LanguedocFox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I don't defend conservative football, but we might be glad we only conceded three rather than six or seven late on in the season. Theory is it's better to just try and nick one in this scenario. O'Neill tried to come from behind at Filbo once and we ended up losing 6-2. I was there, and it was obvious what was going to happen. And Man U did the same thing when Man City beat them 6-1 (I think) at Old Trafford. It's still only two wins between us and 15th place!

We have much more important battles ahead.
GingerrrFox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Leicester City have created a new tactic. Forget Total Football and Tiki Taka lads. It's all about pump it long to no one.
Thrill Bert Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 So people wanted 5 in the middle, people wanted Albrighton on... we've got that and now Pearson is an idiot because ulloa isn't up top on his own?? He's not mobile enough to do that and too slow to chase around and put pressure on. No I think all we were looking for was some joined up tactical thinking for a change
David Hankey Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Far from doing the double today this performance just shows the home performance was just a flash in the pan.
v6rat Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Are we seriously parking the bus 3-0 down??? Wtf is going on Forward planning, we're going to stay up on goal difference
Lobma Thundrup Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 For goodness sake, what on earth is wrong with you all? During the past few seasons, there have been many games in the Premier League, where even some of the top clubs have lost by 4, 5, 6 and even 7. That is football. So far this season, no team has hammered City. We were bound (if it so happens today), to have come up against a team who would score a lot of goals against us. Why do many of you seem to loose all self-control on this thread?
marko Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 So people wanted 5 in the middle, people wanted Albrighton on... we've got that and now Pearson is an idiot because ulloa isn't up top on his own?? He's not mobile enough to do that and too slow to chase around and put pressure on. Did you not get the memo to leave all logic and reason outside when you entered this thread?

Sports science is old school?
martyn Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Far from doing the double today this performance just shows the home performance was just a flash in the pan. I think our position in the league could have told you that
Mark Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 So people wanted 5 in the middle, people wanted Albrighton on... we've got that and now Pearson is an idiot because ulloa isn't up top on his own?? He's not mobile enough to do that and too slow to chase around and put pressure on.I'm not sure what formation would suit ulloa.Apparently just having albrighton on the pitch will turn him into a world beater though.
